I wouldnt trade Deng for Igudola thats a bad move.
Deng is better than Iggy any day and will get better.
If your going to trade Deng get someone back like Amare in phoenix.
Use Deng in a package to get a superstar not a second tier player similar to himself.

Philly would balk at Deng for Iggy straight up. Iggy is an explosive scorer who gets to line, plays decent defense, and has star written all over him. Deng is a great spot up shooter who will never be more than a good player in the league.

If you think we can get someone like Amare for Deng, you're really overestimating Deng's worth.

I'll do the Deng for Iggy trade any day of the week. It'll solve our lack of size at the two and we can play Nocioni at the 3 more.

I have three simple deals for the Bulls, as mentioned before, but the trade thread seemed good

Duhon to Phoenix for Marcus Banks, ATL #1
Phoenix would instantly do any deal where the get an expiring PG for a PG with three years left. He would cost the same as Duhon if Duhon were to get an extension (pray to God he doesn't) and Phoenix would recognize that Atlanta is not gonna suck, so they part ways with the pick.

Smith/Khryapa to Orlando for Garrity, Dooling, #1 in 08
Orlando realizes they are playing with fire with absolutely no one to play down low with Howard. This deal trades their third PG (which makes the rotation a lot smoother) and a non-playing big for a quality big who can contribute. The first round pick won't be that steallar, and with the way their cap situation is, Orlando would do better to add a veteran than a rookie to this team.

Ben Wallace, 1st rounder in 10 (lottery for two years, unprotected after) for Kwame Brown and Vladamir Radmonivic.

A lot of Bulls fans would call me crazy for the pick, but I doubt LA does the deal without it. The Bulls are cutting a lot of immediate payroll (good enough to afford Deng and Gordon if they so choose) and LA is going to need to pay Bynum, Farmar and Ariza in the next two years, but will find it difficult too with Wallace there. Thats why they get a pick, in case they can't resign everyone. That pick carries protection, so it would be 2013 before LA could get a great pick.

Bulls could then easily make a 3-1 deal and replace the depth with picks, or use the picks to move up.

Gordon's value really isn't low at all. Especially when he's averaging near 23 a game since Boylan took over.

I don't agree with this. I don't think he's ever had good trade value since his rookie year. Outsiders see him as an undersized chucking two who should come off of the bench. Hinrich has more trade value.

No one is giving us picks unless we deal: Deng, Ben, Kirk, Ty, or JoNo. And we're not getting a high pick for any of those players outside possibly Deng. Hell if I'm a GM and I have a shot at a stud this year, I'm not giving that up for Luol Deng.

The only way we get better is through internal development and that will only happen if Pax has the balls to get screwed in a trade by giving up talent to clear up playing time for the young guys --- see trading any of Wallace, Noce, Smith, and Duhon.

Even my casual NBA fans, and I use casual very loosely, advocate that too. If they do, I can only imagine what GMs think

Look at the teams giving us picks, Phoenix trades away picks like the plague, and Orlando would be drafting late teens at best (worst for them), so what "studs" are they giving up. Yeah, I totally agree, no team that is bottom 12 should trade their first, but the playoff teams are the ones that deal because they A) Already have talent to make the playoffs, so where would the pick help and B) Teams like Orlando, that has no veteran post presence would deal away a low first to get one.
