Kurt Thomas is a baller. The main is a stone cold thug, he always has a crazy look on his face. He plays hard nosed defense and he can hit the open jumper from 10-15 ft...sometimes he can even hit the 20 footer.

I am still puzzled as to why the Knicks traded him away....the Knicks have been in a true disarray ever since..Ewing too

If the Lakers can get this guy for the MLE it would be a great pick up.

He's not a superstar by any means, and the older he gets the more injury prone...but he's a hardnosed veteran that has always contributed to winning basketball clubs. He's a vet and he knows how to win.

Watching this video makes me hate him more. Look how slim and agile he was then! And his play wasn't even half bad! It's like he got dumber or something...

useless post nobody has defended Kwame in this thread.

Reading comprehension is a real problem on this forum, and particularly in this thread.

If people would just pay attention to what they are actually responding to there wouldn't be so many pointless posts where people make complete asses of themselves.

-Tony-

I'm sure you are a really cool guy in person but you come off way too extreme in your posts. I mean you are so black and white on things. I almost let this post go, I'm almost ready to give up. But I wanted to give it one last shot. I hope this gets through to everyone who thinks we are defending Kwame.

KWAME IS OVER PAID. KWAME WAS HORRIBLE IN THE LAST GAME. KWAME HAS NOT LIVED UP TO WHAT HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN. WE NEED MUCH MORE OUT OF HIM OR AN UPGRADE.

Stop. Take a deep breather and read the caps again. Did you read that? Because up until this point I don't think you have really listened to what us "supporters" are saying.

Believe me I have read everything you have said. I know that you want kwame out of here. I know you think he sucks and is overpaid and should not even be in the NBA. I know this because I'm actually reading what you said. I'm actually listening to you. It's so far up until this point something the majority of this thread including you has not done when reading the "supporters" posts.

So now let me answer some of your questions.

-Why do we keep saying the same thing?

Because you are not grasping what we are saying. We would not be repeating ourselves if you did not ignore what we have said only to repeat exactly what you have been saying. Perfect example of how you choose not to hear what we have said and take it to the extreme. You quoted me saying that the debate is did the booing effect the LAKERS chances of winning or at least ADD TO THE REASONS. You responded to that quote with sarcasm saying "you are right the fans were the main reason we lost the game." If you had read the post I quoted and took time to really figure out what I said you would have known I did not say it was the main reason. You took what I said to an extreme just like you have done since my first post. You also continue to overlook the fact that we are not saying booing hurt his feelings and made him play poorly. We are saying it was the whole TEAM play that broke down during that portion of the game.

-Should we cheer them when they miss shots?

See this is just another example of you taking things to the extreme. This is just a poor attempt of trying to make us supporters sound silly. You really know that we are not saying we should cheer them on. If you really believe that not booing sombody means you must cheer for them I am obviously wasting my time because you are insane and lack the ability to grasp reality. I honestly don't think you are insane I think you are just being extreme. I have read many of your posts over the past serveral months. Yes I do come to this board often...I don't post but I read. I know your personality more than you know mine. I know you are an extreme poster. So please come on now don't play this game now. My suggestion is to moan and groan when we miss a dunk go for it. But in the game we are talking about he was getting booed when he touched the ball in a pick and roll situation 20 plus feet from the bucket. That obviously has nothing to do with missing a dunk. That is what we are talking about. The booing went too far.

I will repeat this again because I know you're going to ignore what I have said above.

I DON'T CARE ABOUT KWAME'S FEELINGS. I DO NOT FEEL SORRY FOR HIM.

So I am not acting like my "kid got punked for his lunch money" as you said. Again an example of you going to the extreme. If you had read anything in this thread up to this point you would understand that.

Now come on and respond to some things I've said. Without being extreme. So I know you are listening. So I know I"m not wasting my time. I'm not trying to change your mind. I don't think I can and that is okay with me. It's fine to disagree in my opinion. No harm no sweat about it. So don't think I am trying to change your mind. I'm just trying to make my point known. That is it.

And I honestly want to know your opinion. You think the booing had no impact on the game? None at all?

I'm dying off that picture! It's like a photoshop trying to make someone look dumb on the court. Wth is Kwame going for? It's like he randomly jumped with both hands into the picture.

Honestly I agree with an earlier poster who commented that it seemed like the other Laker players were trying to make Kwame look bad. At first I thought it was just Kobe but IIRC Walton and Farmar fed him the ball in the post.

I know Kwame is a frustrating player but Phil 2.0 said it best..he is the only option the Lakers have right now. Putting Kwames head in a straightjacket isn't going to help the team. You are going to have to baby him at least until Bynum gets back. The team needs him just to have a big body in the middle. Turiaf can't do it. Maybe just maybe he can get it back together and at least be somewhat productive.........
I'm so tired of the typical......

Wow guys. Hate to say I told you so, but...

yah. this is what we put up with for like four years. He's so frickin talented, if only he could put it together! It's just around the corner! He just needs a good coach! He just needs some instruction! He just needs this, he just needs that... on and on and on, it never ends. Dude is just dumb as bricks, and strange as it may sound you have to have some brains to play nba level ball. Plus he has hands of stone.

Good riddance to old trash.
Help us, Obi-wan Leonsis. You're our only hope.

has anyone ever stopped and think... Maybe Kwame is partially blind? Like one of his eyes is blind or something? Just look at the missed dunks, missed free throws, etc. Just look at this picture above ^^ Maybe he is legally blind, or partially blind.
