this is a gut check game for seattle. do they want to lose 10 in a row? if not, they have to play with energy and passion from the opening tip to the final buzzer. and for the love of god, someone please slip sleeping pills into wilkins pregame meal. maybe he will just sleep through the whole thing.

Is there a separate channel for FSNHD? I've always watched it on channel 30 but I could have sworn I heard that there was an HD channel for FSN

I missed the first half of this game. But I can't remember a game where the Sonics weren't down by ten in the first quarter. I know there have been a few but I really can't remember one off the top of my head.

I wasn't really a big fan of PJ in the first place but I am really questioning his grasp on the team.

When Nate was coaching a team that wasn't very good he had everyones roles defined and everyone was prepared for the task at hand.

I question how well PJ is preparing these guys and have they started to tune him out?

I didn't expect them to do good, I expected 20+ wins, at this point, we'll be lucky to reach that.

I also expected to at least be respectable as the season wore on, not in a damn free-fall

In my house, we call the first quarter the best quarter...and if the Sonics are losing by 25 or more at halftime, we turn the game off. Unfortunately, they hovered around 20-24 points throughout most of the game, so we watched the entire thing hoping for a small comeback.

I definately recommend this rule to you all. You can save yourself a lot of pain this way. Last night just happened to be what I'd call a "close" game.

What happened to this team? By the end of the November, I was encouraged by the progress we made. We were losing, but at least we were able to keep our dignity intact by keeping it close. We used to play pretty solid for 36 minutes every night. Now we can barely play 12.

the short answer to your question is the schedule. much tougher in jan than dec. injuries have also played a part. and as a season goes on, the good teams start to really figure out the bad teams. seattle is a bad team. period. 20 wins is probably what we are looking at right now.
