To be fair, I think his decision making has been much better in the 4th. That shot he took posting up was a good shot that just didn't fall. That turnover sucked, but it wasn't made out of selfish play or anything like that.
The team as a whole though....just

In the end, a decent win , but any win on the road is good
. Fun game to watch, because it was against Indiana and the added Ron factor.
It wasn't that pretty of a game, but I don't care.
Ron didn't have a good overall game, but he still did enough and was a factor, to noticably help the team win.
Beno, Mikki, Brad definitely played well. Quite impressed by Beno, once again. I dig his game a lot.
Bibby/Kevin/Salmons were effective for the most part.
Got kinda worried late there, but I was confident we wouldn't melt down.
A couple more games left on the Ron Artest tour! Miami Heat.

I think any other time we would've lost, but I think we're gettign stronger. Many of the upper echelon teams have sloppy games too ( alot). Dallas, for example, shot 27% against Chicago last year, and they wound up with a win. The sign of a good team is to win anyway they can, even if they are at a disadvantage (turnovers). I'm happy with the win because it's on the road, and we had so many turnovers. It also showed that guys on our team are still able to produce even with the return of our top 3 guys. Ofcourse there is still things we can approve, but hey...it's a lllooonnnggg season still. We're only about half way through.

Greatest moment of this game tonight...(watching on LP at least) was in the 4th quarter hearing the words, "Dunleavy.....IN RHTYM" as he shoots a transition three to pull the Pacers to within three.
How does the pastiest, white guy on the court's "IN RHYTM" shot result in.
CLANK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was cracking up over that play call by the Pacers announcers.
Rhythm and Dunleavy is like NY Post and truth.

Ha, well, they just underestimated Philly. Can't do that in the NBA much, the better team isn't the winning team in the end multiple times each season. Which goes for this season, and especially with a team like the 76ers and how they've been as a team since AI was dealt. They were above .500 after that. I also like some of their players, like how they play, scrappy and with what they have (not a lot) on both sides of the floor. I also love Iguodala. It's also not like the Raptors are a top team in the league or something, they're better than ordinary, though.
The talent level isn't as lop-sided for certain teams compared to others, as a lot of people think. Other factors aside from quality of the team are there every game. Those other things aren't always present for the better team, and can and quite possibly will lose. The level of difference between teams isn't such a significant factor all the time. That's why the games are played, and why several upsets happen every season.
Jeff Van Gundy (tremendous announcer, btw) partly brought this up a couple nights ago, and that was a good reminder of how it's been and how it is in the NBA (about the league's talent level, and from game to game). Because it's not thought about much, and when it happens, most people are surprised. But it's always there each season, more than a little bit.
It happened tonight as well with Chicago against Detroit. 97-81, Bulls. I was quite surprised when I knew of that, but the possibility was there. I didn't think Detroit would have their casual mentality after the loss to us.

Quinn Buckner was just ridiculous all night long. He was trying to justify almost everything that happened in the game for the Pacers. Even when there was nothing really there to do so.
He was also inaccurate on several things about the Kings. Saying Salmons couldn't shoot, Brad Miller shouldn't be driving/normally doesn't (when he was been pretty effective here because of the lost weight), Ron would piss off the team, Ron doesn't pass, Garcia's jumpshot is what you want to be taken, etc. Just garbage.
I was like "God, this guy is such a blatant homer". I knew he was like that at times from previous games, but not as much as he was this game.

I'm not sure I agree with the "homer" label...blatantly ignorant is more like it. Also, his "couldn't shoot" comment was directed at Dahntay Jones, not Salmons. I remember him being pretty high on Salmons last night.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.
