We came out playing pretty well, but more importantly we were able to get Philly out synch. However, Mitchell sat our starters far too long into the second quarter, leading Philly's players to find their zone and take the lead before half. The 3rd quarter was just an extension of this momentum swing.
This loss is on Sam for his 2nd quarter blunder. Being tired is no excuse for players making millions to play the game.

39 pts in the fourth was great.. too bad they thought defense wasn't necessary in the second and third.
yeah that third quarter was awful, but it all started in the second. crazy fourth quarter, but you gotta sustain it, or at least avoid such ups and downs in the course of one game.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I look at it. Not the end of the world of course, but I hope it sends a message on how to set the tone.
What this game really made me realize was how much our bench needs Calderon. Ford is really going to make a huge difference once he's back in uniform, in more ways than one.

i agree. and it doesn't matter which pg is playing with which unit, as long as there is no drop off. dixon clearly isn't an energy type point guard that can keep the intensity up. jose is!
