66-44 at the half with Bass grabbing his own miss on the freethrow and putting it back in.

Kurt Thomas is an idiot for grabbing Dirk's shirt like that.

Nice block by Dirk on West but why would Stack take a 22 foot jump shot with a 2 on 2 break with Josh?

Howard
Bass
Dirk

I......c mavs win

Anyways, I was impressed with Bass tonight. Not so much with his 9 pts, 4 reb, 1 blk & 1 stl in 20 min, but more so on his 3 ast, no turnovers and on out of control tunnel vision shots. That may be his high game in assists (I didn't look to find out).

I like Harris tonight. In only 24 min, he had 17 pts on 54% shooting along with 8 dimes & 2 boards. Only 1 turnover. Imagine if he played 36 min like some of the other all-star vets.

Turns out Diop is better than Damp offensively. 8 pts, 8 reb and 3 blocks in 20 min.

Hassell looked good with 6 pts on 60% shooting along with 4 reb & 3 ast in 19 min.

Lets see..Diop, Hassell, and Harris...those three look good. Wonder why they don't get more minutes.

A few in the house observations.

Watson is a god shooter from long range, but his vaunted D was still in sea
Durant must have been feeling Texas Pressure
Kurt Thomas was barely noticeable.
The running game was up for this game
Diop had some good intensity

Dallas fans generally suck. They have no enthusiasm or energy. I am not sure they understand the game. The guys behind me kept talking about all the money they make and then spend (Cris Kris). They they proceeded to replace Chuck and Ortegal with an in depth Play by Play that was wrong with players and stats.

My 7 year old son had a blast tho, and loved watching dirk and devin have a good one.

As long as your son had fun. Just make sure he doesn't grow up to be like some of the Dallas fans your referring to.

I've said before that IMO, when Dirk and Devin are playing at a high level then we become so much more of a threat. Devin's continued improvement is KEY this season and his shooting looks better.

If Wally played like that everynight, I would be interested in him at the 2 spot.

Return to Dallas Mavericks
