The last call was bs, Al was facing the basket, and the ball went the other way, how does Al slap the ball behind himself if his hands are moving forward?

Last time they had a loss like this (@Atlanta) they came out the next game and destroyed the Suns... so watch out GS. Monday is a can't miss.

without KG i'm bordering on hating basketball now. i'm disguisted that perhaps we should take away every close win the wolves got in the last 8 years because it's only without KG we can now see the true destructive nature of superstar calls.

Guys, we all know the Wolves won by 15 tonight. It would've been nice to get it on paper, but this is just another step towards Beasley, or Rose, or Jordan. We'll be thankful in a couple years when we've got a top pick that's producing and we're finally getting the calls. All I want to see from the Wolves is 48 minutes of effort, and they exceeded my expectations tonight.

no, this is not another step. we've already locked this up. plus does anybody actually think stern would give minnesota the #1 pick, honestly? this league is crooked

#1, #2, #3, #4, contrary to what some of said, no one has separated themselves from the pack in this draft class. If the Wolves finish with the worst record, it's not like Stern can give them the 8th pick.

Wolves will not get the number 1 pick. Book it. We WILL have the worst record, but most certainly will NOT get that pick.

Yea the Heat are getting number one. I'm certain of that. Also, although I am happy that we played hard I feel terrible for the players who gave their all out there and left it on the floor only to close because of a couple of bad plays and a few horrible calls. They fought so hard.

Some guy on the General board started a ref topic right after saying he watched the Wolves-Nugs and knew we got robbed on that Al Jefferson rebound.

43 FTA for Denver. Who cares about how the end was reffed, it was the whole game.

its not like they killed anybody, only knicks fans are dumb enough to kill themselves after a loss

though i once did watch a video about people cutting themselves and there was some kid who scratched "cubs" into his chest with a knife every time they lost.

so NBA.com put this game on the front page...but misrepresent it so gruesomely it's disgusting. Here's all they had to say about any controversial end-of-game plays:

"Iverson was fouled on the in-bounds play and hit two free throws to secure the win."

just coming home in the hope of seeing a big W in the box score but it should not have been that way. reading this thread it seemed as was a great game but it didn't really pay off for them.

and no, I won't comment on the refs issue cause I haven't seen the game but how in hell is it possible to have almost a disadvantage of -30 FTA????

OK, I was pretty frustrated last night with the end of the Denver game, but I felt a little better this morning.

We are still standing strong in our pursuit of the most ping pong balls, with 5 straight losses, and a 5-34 record. Two teams are trying to usurp our position, with SEA losing its last 10-in-a-row (9-31) and MIA is 8-31, having lost 13 straight. However, we have a 3-game lead and only have to worry that the return of Randy Foye will jeopardize that position.

Lastly, here are the lottery odds for the bottom four places:

Standings: Pick 1.. Pick 2.. Pick 3.. Pick1-2. Pick1-3
-------------------------------------------------------
30th place: 25.0% 21.5% 17.8% 46.5% 64.3%
29th place: 19.9% 18.8% 17.1% 38.7% 55.8%
28th place: 15.6% 15.7% 15.6% 31.3% 46.9%
27th place: 11.9% 12.6% 13.3% 24.5% 37.8%
