In the phoenix offense, Nash/Amare would outperform any other nash/center combo. by the way you forgot to make Nash/Howard an option. That said, Nash/howard is the way i'd go if i wanted a ring. Fancy dunks and pretty plays mean nothing to me if you can't win.

Howard is putting up 20+ PPG with an average PG... with Nash, he'd be at 30 per game easily.

1. Amare
2. Dwight

?. Bynum

Seriously, why is Andrew Bynum even in this discussion?? Howard is a better finisher than Amare, but Amare is a more versatile scorer mainly because he polished his jumper why'll he was injured. Amare/Nash are a devestating pick n roll combo, and I don't think any other big man in basketball has the all around skillset/athleticism to run it as well.

amare/dwight by a landslide. bynum wouldn't work well with nash. amare can't create his own shot and needs nash's creative passes. bynum likes to post up and go to work in the post (although he does get a lot of alley oops from kobe).

Go look up Bynum Amare head to heads this season...

I'll do that as soon as there's a thread about Amare and Andrew's head to head matchups.
