Regular season and last seasons playoffs, inclusive.

I think some people need to be reminded of that.

Given more playing time, he definitely would.. Smitch wouldn't let that happen as it would be detrimental to the team

EXCELLENT STAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im serious, why not let him just play it out until he fouls out instead of benching him as soon as he gets 2 fouls in a half?!?!?

I think its a conspiracy... Bargs is struggling, its no secret, BC says PLAY HIM, START HIM, HE NEEDS TO DEVELOP, but Sam wants to play guys that will help win and who deserve it.. so he plays Bargs and says "IF he is in FOUL trouble, there is nothing I can do."

It is his excuse for not playing Bargs.

Yes, Bargs sucks, and yes Im losing my patience, but BOSH, SAM, SOMEONE needs to find a way to get this guy his confidence back, because all I have seen all year is everyone telling the guy what he is doign wrong and beating him down mentally after anything he does.

Facts:
1) he has talent
2) he is the #1 overall draft pick
3) he is young
4) if he plays remotely close to what we think he can play, the raptors are a better team
5) bargnani, when he plays well, bring something to the raptors that no one else has the ability to do
6) the only way the raptors can compete with the elite teams in the east is if Bargnani is a factor again.

GET ER DONE!!!!!! This problem needs to be solved!!!

I'm starting to think the Smiz-itch never wanted Bargs in the 1st place.

Ummm, if Sam plays Bargs 40 minutes in a game, Bosh will punch him in the face.

I think numbers 1, 3, 5, and 6 are debatable.

 MY STOMACH HURTS! I may sig this, don't make my ulcer bigger than it already is

Bargs either produces or loses his ability to breath. He'd probably foul out before then, you have nothing to lose by doing this.

As for #5, Anthony Parkers value is higher. When Anthony Parker is clicking it seems like the whole team is.

Except a rebounding advantage.

I too have wondered why he sits after 2 fouls. He never plays in the 4th quarter so accumulation is not the problem

Also I am curious why the refs keep calling such lame ticky tack fouls on Barg's. I keep replaying most of he fouls in the last 3 games & very, very few are legit. It seems that since he is big & clumsy the whistle is put in their mouths in anticipation

Good to know that there's others that notice this as well.

What disturbs me even more is that I have yet to see Sam argue a foul called on bargnani, and with the amount of questionable calls against him, it really makes me wonder.

What's your point?

Bargs has done nothing to deserve more playing time, and it appears Colangelo forced Sam's hand into putting him in the starting lineup. When he picks up 2 quick fouls (and plays like crap), that gives Sam a nice excuse to bench him, which, imo, helps the team.

I think the Raptors should move on with Bargnani and start developing Joey Graham, Jamario and Hump.

No one has the ability to play Center, knock down threes, and pull his defender away from Bosh so that Bosh has an open lane to drive it every time to the bucket.

That was Bargs purpose, too bad he sucks this year.. doesnt know when to help D, gives up a lane to the bucket himself, gets outrebounded, CANT BOX OUT HIS MAN.. (how hard is that?) and seems to always be in the path of where our team wants to go on offence. GET OUT OF THE WAY!

Smitch needs to let him play through this.

2 early fouls and he doesn't see the floor until the third?

Return to Toronto Raptors
