OT: I was right about Travis Outlaw

Post#1 » by Dexmor » Sun Jan 20, 2008 8:06 pm

When I heard he signed with the Blazers for a measly 5 million I said the Lakers should have pursed him hard with either a sign and trade or whatever it took to get him on the team. That guy ended up being one of the biggest signing steals and draft steals in a long time. They got him for the midlevel and although he is only averaging 13 points 5 boards a block and a steal I think we all see this guy will be an allstar or at least one of the best players who don't get into the allstar game like Odom was on the Heat.

great point.

and in parting... we could not have got him. He was an RFA no? He was going to leave portand nor was he going to force portlands hand to trade him to the Lakers. OR would the blazers ever want to do that.
Cheers. — Mags
