I don't think I'm ready to guarantee anything with the Celtics right now. I think they beat us right now, but I don't want to make any comparisons until the end of the season. Their team depth has been better than I thought it would be, but they have looked mortal recently and I actually agree with some of the assessments on the main board that it looks like they don't handle losing well. I wouldn't want to meet up with them, but given the choice between Detroit/Boston, I would take Boston 99 times out of 100 right now.
IF...and it is a huge IF Bargnani somehow finds his shot again, it completely changes the makeup of the team because he causes so many defensive problems when his 3-point threat is on the court. It would pull people out of the paint instead of right now where you could put a PG up against Bargnani and he would still miss the shot. You pull guys out of the paint and it makes Bosh's job much easier to get to the basket. That and with a healthy Bosh I want to see if he can be more effective against KG. I know KG has always caused him problems, but right now I think Bosh is playing the best offensive basketball of his career. Not that we could beat the Celtics, but I think there is the possibility that we at least make life difficult for them.

Dwight Howard would kill us. We would have nobody to defend him.
They have no one who can defend Bosh. I agree that Howard is a monster, but Rasho could do a respectable job on him and they could foul the hell out of him.
Also, I think if our point guards were healthy, Ford and Calderon would constitute a huge advantage over Nelson/Arroyo/whomever.

I think we can beat most of the teams in the East, w/ the obvious exception of Detroit and Boston. They just have too much veteran experience and both are great defences. If we do want to win a round or 2, we have to address the center position. We need a guy who can play physical down in the paint. I would love for the Raptors to get Kurt Thomas at the deadline, but I think the Sonics value his expiring contract so may not give him up. So yeah, if we can get a big and get an healthy T.J. back we can beat anybody in the East.

We really need at the least, a somewhat dependable, consistent secondary scorer. We don't have that right now and it would be great if Bargnani could get himself going and fit into that role. I think it would really help our play-off success chances.

I think we matchup very, very well against Orlando. The guy that actually worries me on that team is Turkeglu (LOL, how do you spell that dudes name, that's atrocious! I think I am too used to calling him turkeyglue)
Teams that I feel we have little chance against.
Det, Bos, Cleve
We can beat Wash, Orl, NJ, anyone else.
But we don't have the developed talent to take those first three teams.
