Wow man... :o . First, New Jersey would send somebody to "whack" you just for making that offer.

Secondly, I wouldn't involve anyone who's making a significant contribution, unless it was a slam dunk option.

^^^NJ and Chicago wouldn't touch that deal. And personally, I'm not ready to give up on Webster. He is taking a little longer to develop than a lot of players, but its never been a secret that guys taken straight out of hs usually take longer to develop. We gave Outlaw time and he is now a legit NBA player. I think Webster has all the tools to be better than Outlaw, he just needs time.

The Trade Machine is for dreamers, my friend. :)

Seriously though, you know you would trade Frye, Miles, Sergio and Webster for Gordon and Jefferson.

With the way KP made an oaf out of Minnesota and Boston, why not NJ?

I should probably state that I am kidding about this trade.

I was thinking something like Sergio for Ike Diogu (also probably a pipe dream).

Nope, wouldn't even work. But it'd be nice to do something along those lines.

You make Diogu sound like an All-Star. The guys never been a starter or a significant contributor. He's still mainly still potential. We've heard from some time that Sergio was a very popular item last year at the deadline.

Like I said, I'm not saying this is a realistic deal, but I'm saying there could be something along those lines that could be done like this. Not necessarily Sergio or anything, but something like that.

Trading Sergio, Jack, or Frye is just going to bring back another bit player who probably won't be around beyond next summer and who probably won't even be as useful right now.

What's the point? (Unless we're getting rid of Miles, of course.)

I am a bit torn. I really dont think a trade will help us make the playoffs this season. This team's biggest strength (as near as i can tell) is chemistry, not talent. That considered, in order to be successful this season, we should not alter the chemistry. However, our roster situation is a bit cramped. We really do need to do something, and if not now, then on draft day, in order to not waste players. We all know that KP is impressive, but he is not God, and cannot guarantee draft day miracles. Because of this, he may make a trade before the deadline, if the right trade comes up. It will be interesting to see. Mostly, I put my faith in him. A lot of people were upset about losing telfair, but we all know how that turned out. We also often fail to see some of the subtle benefits of trades, like the Channing Frye ZBO trade that many thought was dumb of us. Did that trade help us land James Jones (I am actually not sure about that). Anyway, he seems to have some plans that we often dont see, and I have learned to trust him.

Yes, although there are any number of ways to exploit the Suns.

Yea. I have a friend who is a suns fan, and I always feel bad for him because they have dumped so much good talent and received so little. I am truly amazed at how they manage to run both a championship contender as well as a farm team for the Blazers and the Sonics at the same time.
