I don't think the Knicks should even consider this deal until the offseason. If we're not going to the playoffs the only player we should be thinking about is Derrick Rose.

I dont see what aquiring lamar odom has anything to do with derrick rose

The idea is that Odom would help the Knicks win more games, ergo lessen the likelihood that Rose will be around by the time the Knicks pick.
