Would the Suns win 1 game against...

Post#1 » by Taiwan Killa » Sun Jan 20, 2008 9:01 pm

The 3 peat Lakers? If the Suns can't handle Bynum what would happen to the Suns vs. Shaq?

In a 7 game series could the Suns get 1 game?

Right, they couldn't win one game? Even the Sixers with Iverson won one game against the Lakers.

Shaq would average at least 40 points per game on 77% shooting from the field. This is insulting to the 3peat lakers...

No they wouldn't. The Suns won't be able to stop Shaq and without the Zone, Kobe would be relentless driving inside again.

I would love to see how Marion (their best defender) is guarding prime Shaq...lol.

Marion wouldn't be on Shaq; for all his issues, Amare would be. Marion is a terrific defender but he's a three who is able to play the four only because of his athleticism; he's way too small to be trying to guard the like of Shaq.

Shaq would drop 40/15 while fouling out the entire Phoenix frontcourt.

for the first 2 minutes of the 1st quarter. at that point he'd pick up his 2nd personal foul and the duties would go to brian skinner. then he'd pick up his second halfway through the 1st, and the game would essentially be over because shaq would score at will for the rest of the game.

Shaq would dominate but the Nash/Amare pick and roll would also be deadly as Shaq was terrible at defending the pick and roll and Amare is athletic enough to get Shaq in foul trouble at least 1 or 2 games

Id say Lakers in 5

If you thought the 2002 NBA Finals was one sided......

Hint: Shaq breaks the all time playoff scoring record.

not to mention they barely beat us that one game .. we swept through every other team coming into that series and ended 16-1 playoff record (best ever in playoffs) our 00 squad was pretty solid too

only one squad i think maybe 1 is our 02 squad when we were getting sorta old .. but in no way did i say any chance of winning the series .. Nash couldnt even handle us back then when he had Dirk with the mavs

They have a player who's about twice as good?
