Ariza broke foot

So it really did happen. I guess the stuff about structural damage was true.

Well, we don't really know if it was caused by that... It could have been in a play where any other player would also break it... though those rumours really look like real right now...

Too bad for the kid, I wish him the best and a quick recovery.

Well apparently it was from stepping on Odom's foot in practice.

I hope for his sake it's not the structural issues.

I'll reply in this one since it was posted like 30 seconds sooner.

This doesn't necessarily have anything to do with those rumors about his foot, he could have simply broken it like anybody could have, but those rumors do exist, and he did break his foot, so......draw your own conclusions, but I don't think it's a reach to think that they are connected in some way.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

The main worry would be that this makes the issue with the structural damage worse I guess.

That really sucks, I hope he's not one of those players that are injury prone, even though I sorta see that happening. One of those guys whose potential is never reached because he gets injured again and again. Maybe he should bulk up a little to avoid a Shaun Livington like injury.

He seems injurey prone to me. I hope it works out for him. I really like what Evans is giving us, so maybe we did good in this trade after all.

That's too bad.

I don't know that I'd see this as confirmation that he has structural problems in his foot.

You have to admit....he's had some injury problems here -- his foot and his knee. Trevor just plays with a lot of reckless abandon; it's what makes him the player he is. But sometimes he lands unbalanced, and he's always in the paint mixing it up where there is opportunity for a lot of contact.

i wish him a speedy recovery.

and lets not get into the trade here..

we were all angry at first and now we are okay now that cook/evans are contributing more than ariza was. we have the depth we needed (compared to before)...

That sucks for Trevor who is a good kid. I hope its not related to his structural foot problems.

This is the same time that it happened to us last year.

I am very upset that it had to happen to a guy like Ariza, again.
let paid professionals do their job, don't you try and do it for them...

this is kinda making the trade look a little better if it is true that its the same foot and its due to structual damage. all in all i hope he has a quick recovery and man poor lakers they are dropping like flies

Yep, that trade is looking better and better. Sucks for him, but we dodged another bullet it seems.

I hope all goes well for Ariza.

I'd be concerned about his future health though.

Ariza is going to be out for 8 weeks due to a broken bone in his right foot...
