But I do think most fans see how young the team is and don't expect a championship run next year like most Heat fans are wanting.

So gag on that Dick.

Miami has sold out every game so far. Maybe their fans are more patient than you think. Seeing that the Sonics have one of the most hearalded rookies to come into the league in ages, currently sitting at 26th place in attendance (23rd by capacity percentage), i'd say winning is much more important for our fans than you want to admit.

You can go ahead and say it's because of the Bennett situation but I don't think that's even close to the main reason. Personally, despite the Bennett crap, i've been a loyal follower. But even now, the product is becoming so unbearable to watch, that even i've had to turn away from them in games recently. By the look of the last few game threads, i'd say the effect of losing is becoming quite broad and starting to attack fellow diehards. SonicsCentral didn't even do a game or boxscore thread for the Mavericks game. That's a first as far as I can recall.

No fan in their right mind is expecting a championship run here. What they do expect is a team that can compete and we're far from seeing that.

It would be fiscally irresponsible of us to make this trade. Nothing we do would make us make the playoffs this season. We're best off just letting our contracts expire. But, if you want to dump Wally+sweetener for our expirings, then we'd be interested. But otherwise no. And it doesn't look like Earl Watson is an option for Miami anymore. At least not until we find out where we're picking in the draft.

As far as the Heat go, this season is already shot. Their best bet is to let contracts expire, don't add any payroll beyond this season so they can get a free agent deal that the owner won't kill because of the tax, put Shaq on the shelf and hope he can go next season, all the while hoping to have a Wade & Rose backcourt next season.
Well Wiff is just bluffing.
The Sonics are out in the playoff for several seasons now and I doubt if they don

I don't see us doing anything else then a deal similar to that rumor, which saves us quite some money.
If we can't get something we really like we'll just move on and see what we can do this summer(when Wally's contract will be really valuable) or what ever else other teams offer us.

BTW: As far as Hoops23 goes. To me, that Okie comment pretty much assured him to not be taken seriously anymore around this board.

Indeed. Any previous goodwill garnered has been washed away in the snarky floodwaters.

Finally we able to witness the trade value of Wally which is for Marshall and expirings, and Dolente West as a sweetener.
The trade is a proof that Wally is not worth a young player like Dorell, expiring contracts and taking on the contact of Watson.

I wouldn't go giggling. Miami are probably the biggest joke in the league right now. Yeah we're bad but everyone expected us to be, you guys weren't, you won the title a couple of season ago and your already the ass end of the league. Marion won't stay there and your just stuck with the NBA poster boy and refs love child to hold your team together because you have nothing else at all! Blount, Banks, Haslem now who's laughing

I shouldn't say anything to you but I am sick of reading your smug piss weak responses in here. The fact that you brought up the Oky word in here shows what a real piece of **** you really are!
