Emeka Okafor: I really think he'll bring his "A" game. We need that Max contract Okafor to show up.

Image

TD is the man! and until someone proves to be better, he'll continue to be the man.

Image

Dallas is a running team, a good team, a +500 team. It isn't easy facing San Antonio and then Dallas next. So a "W" going into next game is MUCH NEEDED!

Image

Walt, Do you think that the 8 man line-up causes 4th quarter fatigue for the Bobcats?

Spurs Fans! We encourage you to vote for the game hammers after the game.

Loss... Spurs coming off two tough losses (both at the buzzer)... I'd surprised if this is a win. Don't really think it'll be a blow-out, though. I think that should be avoided, at least.

No Ammo this time, heh

We're at home, so I expect us to come out and play like we know we can win. As usual Crash & JSwish will have to lead the show, and Mek will need another stellar game against Duncan like last year.

MLK is starting to become one of my most favorite hollidays. End of a 3 day weekend featuring a Bobcats' game in the middle of the day...doesn't get much better than this!

A win will just complete it.

This is a true measuring stick for the Cats. Hopefully they hang with the big Dogs.

Whoo, thanks Spectre. I wasn't even thinking about this being a day game. I might even be able to sneak out of work today because my schedules so light . I usually can't make the day games.

I think this is a better matchup than the Hornets...as long as we try to control the tempo...
Lets get a win...

Tough question, easy answer is "yes", but it's pretty dependent on the matchup. Further, there have been 7 games where Dudley hasn't played at all.

Early in the season we did really well in 3rd quarters but seemed to run our of gas in the 4th, but I think this isn't the case anymore. In fact, the thread about what justifiable reasons SV has for starting McInnis has kind of convinced me that it keeps important players like Carroll and Felton fresh for the 4th. Anyway, this feels obvious to type, but I'd say this is the breakdown:

uptempo games where we don't play Nazr and Emeka together= pretty fresh team for the 4th.

uptempo games where Nazr and Emeka have had to play together because of opposition forward play=bigs gassed by the 4th but not necessarily the guards and wingmen.

half court set/lower pace games=everyone more rested and more productive in the 4th and it doesn't seem to matter if Emeka/Nazr had to play together or not.

Anyway, I may come back and edit this or add to it during the game b/c I didn't get to look at any game longs, this is merely speculation. Additional side note: I think more posters would check out the game threads if the "Ask ____" section changed for each one. Don't get me wrong, I'm flattered, but it definitely has me looking forward to the next gt b/c I KNOW I'll have something to discuss, so I was just thinking that maybe it could be something that keeps people checking these when they might not otherwise, motivational type of thing.

Ok, so since Nazr has joined the team (19 games):
*Used 14 minutes played as cut off for rotation

-we've gone with an 9 man rotation once (NO blowout lead to 4th quarter scrub time)

-we've gone with an 8 man rotation 6 times Nazr's first game as a Bobcat, Wizards game where he started, @ Orlando, home against NO where Nazr started, home against Chicago and home against Milwaukee

-Twice we've gone with a SIX MAN ROTATION! At Milwaukee and the game against Detroit where McInnis and Felton didn't play, but it went to OT!
All loses!

-10 times we've gone with a 7 man rotation and we've won 8 of those games. New York, New Jersey, Boston, Indiana, Denver, Orlando, Utah and Memphis. Losses came against the Cavs in OT and a game with NJ.

Gonna dig deeper to see if there's a correlation

I think Wallace looks cooler with the midfro instead of the rows. When he wears the rows he makes McInnis physically appear to be his mini-me.

EO50 looking great on the offensive end. Hope we keep going to him and not freeze him out.

No reason for Jrich to take such a quick 3, easy buckets on the other end for SAS

100% agree. Not a fan at all of the rows. Mini-fro all the way for me.

Of course if he keeps playing the way he has over the last month he can rock the Rodman look for all I care!!
