We also may have Francine coming over...

wouldnt we have to use the MLE to resign Arroyo? How does it work?

Goran would be an great PG prospect though. Apparently he is still under contract and young/thin so we could leave him over for a year. I remember reading how all these scouts were obssessed with him. He looks pretty good in his youtube vids.

No, you can sign a player already on your team for whatever you want regardless of your cap situation. We'd still have the MLE to use after signing Arroyo and Auggie.

It would just be to keep our Latino fanbase apparently... at least that's the only justification I've ever heard.

He can be a decent backup point. He can be a decent PG.

The only reasons, imo, to not resign him would be $$ or if we got another vet PG that's capable. I don't think he'd be happy being 3rd string.

Those are the key words . He can be, but in reality he's not

Well we will have to resign one of Dooling or Arroyo. Arroyo is capable of running the point if Jameer goes down and he puts more buts in teh seats so it will probably be him.

Agreed. imo, he's shown that he's at times a good backup PG, even did a decent job when starting.

The biggest problem is that he's not consistent in running the offense. But, imo, he's been better than in previous seasons.

Not sure if that's experience/maturity or SVG.

I think it was SVG who said he's the most PG-like in our PG rotation.

Id rather have Orlando Magic fans than player fans any day.

At least imo team > any individual player

So would I, but I'd also rather be in Orlando than Kansas City.

Well then were doomed if losing Arroyo's fan base results in the team moving to KC.

All you Arroyo haters, understand that this is the first time in his career that he is actually trying to be this kind of player. He has always been a scorer, so I have hope that SVG is getting through to him. If so then Carlos can become a very solid backup.

well lets hope SVG can motivate him when Jerry Sloan and Larry Brown couldn't.

I wonder how many latins have played in Utah, just a thought. Brown was a do it his way or no way at all. I think SVG is the difference. So far I'll take what i have seen this year from carlos. He does have lapses but overall he's been doing a great job as the backup for this club.
