Gerald Wallace blocks Duncan, throws it upcourt to J-Rich for the wide open three!

These two are starting to gel together.

The NYK/BOS game is exactly why I'm so critical of Eddy Curry - Kendrick Perkins has 22 points and a bunch of boards in the 1st half.

Curry definitely deserves some of the blame, but far from all of it. Perkins is getting almost all his points off feeds from Pierce, who is just going right by whatever perimeter defender they put on him, forcing Curry to leave Perkins open to help out whatever guy Pierce is blowing by at the time and Pierce is dishing it off to Perk.

Curry is terrible defensively, and he's been far from good today, but the Knicks wing defenders deserve a large amount of the blame today.

Don't get me wrong - I'm not saying it's ALL his fault, but a large brunt of it, yes.

Crawford too was getting abused by Rondo. He doesn't even try to move his feet- just lets Rondo drive right by him.

Jared Jeffries has to be one of the worse players in all of basketball.

Not just the NBA -- everything.

It's crazy, they are controlling the game against Dallas and actually playing very good defense. I used to think Eddie Jordan was a horrible coach but he has really done a great job this year

:noway:

Our offense as gone from 3rd best to 12th best.

The difference has been our improved defense (from 28th last year to 15th this season). This has absolutely nothing to do with Arenas and everything to do with bringing in defensive mastermind Randy Ayers as assistant coach, giving our best defender (and one of the best post defenders in the NBA) Brendan Haywood much more PT and the emergence of Andray Blatche who plays very solid defense.
