Talking basketball here is pointless sometimes... call someone slow and they expect a Vlade Divac in his 40s clone
People are acting amazed he could run...
BTW, POB gets the backup C minutes, still... wonder what this says about the guys who are pro-Kosta and pro-Nellie yet cant stop labeling POB a bust... their heads may explode

I was expecting Felton Spencer with polio.
There's a lot of room between slow and quick. Neither precludes the possibility of sucking, but "slow" was a crock.

I wonder what exactly Kosta did that wasn't slow and pronounced...
Um . . . he moved "not slow"?
I don't know how else to describe it for you.
Enjoy the game.

Based on your off-season description of him, I'm sure a ton of people expected Kenny George slowness..
That's just freakish slowness... keep everything in an NBA context. This guy was completely outmatched on both ends in Euroball.
But he was logging 30 min and is more of an energy player, and he doesn't seem to be in good shape (though that can change in 3 months) ... a bench role could eventually suit him if he becomes a lot more fundamentally sound (hands, shot, offense)..
But the fact that he actually blocked out hit a soft spot for me... if he comes in and does that, at all, I'll be a Kostamaniac...

There was one play in particular where Perovic was behind Bogut on a fast break and sprinted down court to get into defensive position and eventually passed him. There was nothing slow about it. My expectation was so low, I was actually amazed by such a simple feat.

What we need is another Euro guy to come around and give us the scoop, like we got with Beli over the summer.
Hey is everyone excited POB is in?!
The Eruo's were dead on about the streak shooting. I'd trust them on Kosta.
I'd agree with you that I have no idea what he will or won't be until I see more, but I did see a guy who was reasonablly agile for a 7 foot person. I don't need anymore time to figure out his level of coordination than I did to figure out Patty's or Dre's.
Weather or not he will be a good player is not what I've chalenged. Just the idea that he is slow. I think everyone who isn't heavily invested in a particular position on Kosta can agree with that.

No... Kosta footage has been around the Bay Area for about 5 years now. UC has every video of him sent in for every draft year he withdrew from...
