No.

Just no. With a cherry on top. If that makes my no any stronger of a no of no-ness.

Could just see a tight game with D12 and Ben in the front court...just foul'em on every possession. We'd lose. Simple....Plus we need a guy who can it out of the paint if necessary...not a guy with no offence. Used to love Ben when he was here though

As much as I like Ben Wallace. His skills this season have been declining steadily. Also to echo the majority of posters in the thread. He has a long contract, D-12 and him don't compliment each other offensively and both are bad FT shooters. Ben Wallace as a second term Magic player are a no go.

If Wallace could play the PF slot, the Magic could profit from his rebounding.

For a win-this-season move, it could be considered. But Turkoglu to Chicago would be tough.

Tony Battie + Carlos Arroyo + Pat Garrity for Wallace works. Or, Battie + Arroyo + Garrity + Foyle for Wallace + Griffin.

Cliff Levingston agrees with most that has been said here. Wallace + Dwight doesn't make a whole lot of sense offensively. Also, Wallace is at a point in his career where he should only be playing 30 minutes or so. He's still a beast defensively and on the boards when he wants to be, but he doesn't seem to want to be too much.

Anyway, if the Magic were to make one of the above trades, it'd probably be smart to stick with the current starting lineup and bring Wallace off the bench to take all the backup center minutes, and then try to limit his minutes alongside Dwight to those times when you have a lead and are trying to hold it.

ICLO, it could work if done properly, but it's not worth it for the Magic.

Wouldn't we be better off trying to get Joe Smith?

JJ Redick+Pat Garrity(Expiring)+Keyon Dooling(Expiring)+2nd Round Pick

For

Joe Smith+Chris Duhon?

This would save the Bulls some money to keep Gordon and Deng.

That doesn't really do anything for the Bulls, other than save money that doesn't need to be saved. At this rate, Deng and Gordon will re-sign for less than they were offered this past year.

Cliff Levingston (unlike John Paxson) would trade you Nocioni + Duhon for Redick + Dooling + Garrity + Rights to Vazquez. Clears Nocioni's salary off our payroll, provides more PT to the young guys and gives us Vazquez's rights to keep in our back pocket.
