This isn't going to be popular, but it's possible the Bulls' best option is to sit tight and hope that Joakim Noah's lateral quickness and Tyrus Thomas' shot-blocking become defensive forces in the next few years.

What is McGraw thinking here? Is he just writing for the ignorant masses who think Noah and Tyrus aren't good because they don't log a ton of minutes? If there's much that's clear about those two its that they're both very good defenders right now. We don't have to wait for anything if improving our interior defense is the goal.

Too bad our coach is an idiot.

Lol, Duck not sure why that is so hilarious, but just a classic.

Jeremy, I think most of the tribune readers probably think players that don't play, aren't good enough. I have no issues with that. What frightens me is that here, so many hard core basketball fans ignore what they seen from Tyrus and buy into the "well he must not be that good". Well, they don't put it that nicely. /shrug

What? He's a raw, project bust who needs to be traded ASAP before the rest of the league figures out what a big bust he is.

What? Call him a bust in his second year? I know he's struggling early of the season when he play PF and when he play SF he struggling but call him a bust already in his second year in the league is pretty much premature.

Even if he doesn't get much playing time which is still pretty much premature calling him a bust.

Wasn't this the main idea in getting Wallace, for interior defense? Even the drafting of Tyrus and Noah would lead most of us to believe that one of the main reasons they were drafted is for their ability to defend and block shots.

I hope Mcgraw is watching the current Memphis/Chicago game so he can also see how much we need offense. We have enough defensive players on this team. Whether it be thru the draft or trade, my hope Pax concentrates on getting someone who can get us easy points, whether its a post player or someone who can get points off the dribble.

I agreed we have enough players that can defend especially from the interior, we need offense we need a player that slash constantly that can finish and get to the free throw line. We of course need a interior scorer from the post even though we might have one in Aaron Gray but he's getting very little or not getting any playing time for this moment.

And the closest guy that might develop his offense from our front court players is Tyrus Thomas.

If I were the GM, I would play the people I drafted.

I agree. As a Lakers fan who has lived with Bynum this year, having a good center field defender is invaluable (not just man to man or weakside shotblockng). The obvious issue is that there are too many of those just lying around.

So when do you think he'll pop the big question?
