When Does This Season Become Lost?

Post#1 » by jokeboy86 » Mon Jan 21, 2008 10:49 pm

I'll say when they lose 35 games which could possibly come before the break. This team is improving but I think they just loss too many games early on to recover. They'll probably finish with a better record than last year cause I also can see them winning about 35 games this season. This all could change though if they make a shocking trade before the deadline.

It's over.

Suns will kill them tomorrow and we're 10 games under .500 past the halfway point.

That would mean we'd need to finish 25-15 to make the playoffs and get swept by Boston.

I'd rather have this team in the lottery again, to force change. I want absolutely NO REASON for them to be able to rationalize keeping this current core together.

Yeah, he would have been the answer to all of this teams problems. The shot selection, shotblocking, and leadership alone would have easily made us a playoff team.

It was lost after the 7-4 start. We all thought we had something good, but alas, we are fooled again. Reminds me of the CSI:Miami theme song, "Don't get foooleed again." We surely were.

I dont care about the playoffs. Its just the matter of the fact were not willing to do something. Im sure there have been good offers for Redd. We couldve had a solid player for our **** yet nothing has been changed.

So you wouldn't add a horrible contract to make the playoffs, but just to "make a change"? Sounds like a great plan.

Randolph sucks balls, get over it.

Season was over and a waste awhile ago. Noway the Bucks make the playoffs or come close unless they do some blockbuster trade that works out good.

Bucks are nothing but a nice looking team on paper.

It was over when we signed the Gadz/Simmon combo for 15 million a year.

It was over when we didn't get the number 2 pick.

It was over when The Bulls got Hinrich 1 spot before us.

It was over when LH failed to trade CV for a complement to Yi.

It was over when we resigned Mo to 50 million rather than sign somebody who addresses the problems of our team (not having enough jump shooters ISN'T one of them).

It was over when this franchise was made in Milwaukee which basically sets in stone our inability to sign big name free agents, forcing us to overpay our underproductive players to long term deals.

I think the problem is that all the casual fans I talk to think Redd is awesome because he puts up 25 ppg or whatever. I think the fan support sucks enough and I'm not sure what happens when we trade the guy that everyone thinks is the only good player on this team.

Sorry, that memory is blocked by the week of losses to Philadelphia, Atlanta, New York, and Detroit.

The season may soon be lost in terms of the playoffs...but it is far from lost in regards to letting Bogut and Yi develop as a frontcourt. That alone will keep me interested.

Surely not when we are 2.5 games from the playoffs with 24 of the final 41 games at home where we are 11-6.

Guys, be patient! The schedule is going to get a lot easier soon... and your Milwaukee Bucks are currently only 2 1/2 games from the eight seed!

December 20th. Where is the fork, we are done!

Let's feed Bogut and Yi (once he gets pas the wall) some more shots and see what we could have in the future.

One of our starting guards HAS to be moved!

Thanks Simulack!!! Finally someone that understands this is season is far from over! I understand this is a tough period for us, but there are 41 games ahead, and seeds #7-#8 are not far away...
