Yep. Pretty well deserves it especially with that Boston squad. But I think any other coach could shine and have stellar season with that team.
Do you guys think he will pick Pierce over Bosh for the coaching vote-ins?
I think he will

I don't think he has a say in it.. I'm pretty sure the other 28 coaches also have a say

Just to add one thing: Rivers was automatically named coach because his team is at the top of the EC standings on the specified date...which happens to be today.

The participants are currently chosen in two ways. The first is via fan ballot, with the leading vote recipients at each position starting the game; secondly the reserves are chosen by a vote among the head coaches of each squad's particular conference.[1] Coaches are not allowed to vote for their own players. If a player is injured and cannot participate, the commissioner will select a replacement.

Yeah, the standings usually change daily in the NBA....Phoenix is currently #1 in the West, NO is #2, Lakers are #3... Its very close though... I don't know what the cutoff date for best records are but my money is on D'Antoni coaching the West....

COY has nothing to do with anything.. The coaches of both teams are based on the best records in each conference.... simple as that...
