I would not take Bruce or Markovic, Ingliss can play PG if needed and he might be good against some of the taller PG we come up against.

SG Smith / Newley / Ingless
PG Bruton / Mills /

I know its a very tall team but it has great depth and not too many kings players but with a lot of potential for the future

i think our team at the olympics could be a bit of a dark horse with a good mix of youth and experience.

ingles has had a disappointing second season imo. i would have liked to see him step up his game a notch or two. he should get drafted though strictly on potential. he's very raw but extremely talented.

the boy from franga - david anderson should be a lock for the olympic team too. this might be the first time we have more foreign-playing guys in the team than locals.

I can't see Ogilvy going second round if he comes out this year, I don't see him coming out but if he does I doubt it is second round (unless he slumps like slumper slumpy slump for the rest of the season).

Ogilvy won't come out this year but I believe if he did he would be a first round selection
Ingliss would be lucky to be a 2nd round selection after the year he had, I believe if he plays one more year in he NBL and with Shane (the ball hog) Heal gone Ingliss should have a great season and then go into the draft.

Jawai if he puts his hat into the ring will be a late first rounder and could be a promising player in a couple of years, too raw to make a impact but is a good player.

Its about time the Australian Team improved but the only issue is so has the rest of the world

Haha you should of seen another NBL player called "Corey Williams", he was bagging Jawai all night during the All Star Game.

Before the game started Corey Williams said "Man, Jawai is huge, I dont know how I am gunna get around that fat ass of his". Later on during the game on the fastbreak he threw the ball off Jawai's butt and hit the fastbreak layup, and said under his breath "Fat Ass". Jawai was a good sport though and just laughed about it later on.

I really like Jawai, I hope he gets drafted hes a good kid.

AJ's currently projected to go top 10 next year, so I doubt he goes any lower than 20 if he comes out this year. Obviously Jawai is entering this year and will be getting drafted, Ingles should be if he declares and then Maric could end up going late 2nd rnd. I'm still hoping that Bruce can turn it around and/or Baylor make a decent run at the NCAA's, it seems like so much talent going to waste if he ends up not being drafted at all after his first year or two.

I like Ogilvy a lot. I know he really impressed some people in that junior tournament last summer and he's been pretty awesome for a freshman big man. The thing that sticks out for me is that he has a very strong lower body for a guy so young. He's very composed when he gets he ball down low and seems very confident. I think he's probably a little sow for a power forward in the NBA but I think he could be a rotation guy n time.

Jawai definitely sounds intriguing from what I've read, but you have to worry if he turns out like Greek baby Shaq. They seem to have a lot of similarities.

Where did you get the 9/3 for Newley? I've got him at 13 ppg from here but I think that is just in the Greek championship.

My bad, it was old info. The link i posted is saying he's averaging about 11.5 pts 3 rebs i think, which is more encouraging.

His name is Nathan Jawai, he plays NBL in Australia. Now being Australian myself, I have seen he play a lot of he seems pretty good. He is raw, but has lots of potential.

Down here in Australia everybody calls him "Baby Shaq"

I don't really get the Eddy Curry comparison in that scouting report. Jawai doesn't look really fat, the scouting report says he is a good rebounder, and that he plays with passion. Says that he likes to play physical. That doesn't sound like Eddy Curry.

But, it does sound exactly like what the Bucks need to back up the 4/5 in the next couple of years. I've been thinking Devon Hardin in that role, but Jawai projects to be a similar type of player. A physical presence in the form of a role player. Exactly one of the things this team needs.

I like what I saw from that video. Granted it was an All-Star game, but the kid has nice lift and explosion. He's no stiff. Good hands. Good recognition of spacing and angles. I like him. Maybe, the Bucks can trade down this year for more picks, and address a number of needs.
