Great to hear that the Magic got the win tonight. Sounds like it was a fight to the finish. Congrats!

I didn't even notice that Chauncy traveled until I watched that ESPN video. Magic almost got screwed again.

Then people in Orlando got to stop following the games on the Internet instead of going to the arena so that there aren't any tickets for the Pistons fans to buy. People file out of Michigan for the winter like someone yelled fire, and a lot of them spend the winter around here because the Tigers train in Lakeland.

Probably will be a lot of Celtics fan there Sunday, too. Does anyone from up north stay there in the winter?

Magic fans did a good job representing tonight, though. The ones who did go were loud, especially in the second half. There WERE too many Pistons fans there, though. If I heard them yell, "Sheed'' one more time when he put up a 3.....Fortunately, there were some MVP chants for Dwight, too.

Pistonsfans tend to have a history to be at the Magic's place whenever the Magic play the host to them.

let's hope the magic come out with fire wednesday against the Grizz, considering they lost to them already.

Orlando is in serious jeopardy of a let downloss to a bad team after a huge win. Something they cant afford with the way Wash is playing with Butler playing at a top 5 nba player level right now.

while a great win, its only 1 win, regardless of who it is against, especially in the regular season. Orlando still has MUCH work to do in hopes of achieving elite level status, along with being a serious threat come playoff time.

This team is 1 or 2 players away(not webber or wallace) from definition being a championship contender. They really do have a great core.

1. where is knappy with his trade hedo ideas?
2. or the other posters who constantly complain about the ball going through hedo most of the time?
3. great strategy for a board: keep a low profile when what you defend is not defendable.
4. other times, try to push ephemeral as eternal.
5. jameer, by the way, should not be guarding billups no matter what happens.
6. arroyo was nothing spectacular, did take one or two ill-advised shots but was solid overall, concentrated.
7. dwight was dwight.
8. the greatest thing about him this last game was that he did lose his composure while being ferociously slapped at the hand, at the arm, body-checked, etc. by the pistons front court.
9. evans and bogans were doing exactly what they were expected to do.
10. dooling was 4/5 working on magic's favor; for him, cannot get any better than that.
11. cook and foyle did their part as well.
12. overall, the pistons did not play great or as well as they could but they were close and still it was enough to pull out a win.
13. rasheed and prince will not be playing this well on the offense next time but billups, mr big travel, and rip will not be playing this poor either.
14. the magic will have to be sharper on friday if they want to beat the pistons again.
15. but first, the grizzlies.
only 10 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists shy of yet another triple double - anonymous

What a great win.

While we had the lead it was never a "huge lead" and we also fought back from being down and their little rallies.

Detroit have the advantage over us all the time so to dig out this win feels great; I really did expect to lose it, especially given how hot the pistons are now.

Though at the end of the game, not sure if its just cos my eyes arent quite open, but it looks like Billups took a couple of extra steps on that 3, and that Shard was fouled on his buzzer beated. Who cares, made for a good [although probably nerve racking when watching it] ending.

Hedo once again with a great game.

Sport Center counted it....it was four.

Yes he was.

The spread for tonights game was Detroit by 2 and half. .................I am really starting to wonder.

Four F@#$ing steps!!!

We not only beat detroit tonight.

We beat the officials as well.

I can't wait for my free donut!

Your not kidding, Chancy might as well have been auditioning for dancing with the stars on that play. It was like. Bump...1...2..3..4..spin, heave.

Billups and Rip were running all over the place. That 4th quarter had at least 4 blatant travelling call misses by the refs. I was proud to see the Magic fight through the BS and get a win.
Go Magic!

Kinda sucks to say but I think the reason we won was because Jameer didn't play. Dooling and Bogans took turns on Chauncey and they held him pretty nicely.

Yeah, I am thinking the same. Dooling, especially, played exceptional defense against Billups. He really seemed to get to him.

I was actually impressed with shards defense even before he even made that incredible block/save on Prince. He seemed to be forcing some tough shots (when he was playing his position). Hedo was like LBJ light...just facilitated everything.

Awesome win. To me, that = 10 wins. I don't care for the pistons. :)
"And with Dwight, he's Moses Malone at 22, Shaq at 22 and Tim Duncan.

They also show how Dooling pulled on his jersey and arm trying to get the foul, which obviously wasn't called either.

How do you know things are going badly for the Pistons? When even the Orlando Magic can

Because you know every time they see you, they cringe and are anticipating you to talk trash or just to say something about them losing ...

Are you serious?

...am I serious about what? It's just a running joke in most pick up games I've played that bank shots don't count if you don't call it. Sorta like a ping pong shot that grazes the edge of the table. You'll take the point, but you might take some crap for it. :D

Im in a great mood today wohooo!!! Thank u Magic.

I loved the way the team competed last night. They showed that mental toughness that has been missing at times. The Magic finally stood up to them when it mattered. That felt good.

They are'nt just visiting. They live here. It's because Michigan is such a shity place to live. Flroida has alot of transplant nort easterners. Flroida is just a better place to live, but they come here and root for the place they were born, even though they like it better here.
