Anyway, he's right, he doesn't deserve it, I think it's a good gesture. Props to him. All these asians voting in Rockets players is annoying. I don't like fan voting at all.

T-Mac lead the guard in voting back in his Orlando day already

So then we'd have Kobe voted in. I'd imagine Nash and CP are in. Then there are 2, maybe 3 spots for Iverson, Roy, Ginobili, Parker, or Davis.

reserve required 1 center, 2 forwards, 2 guards, and 2 wildcards
unless it's injured replacement
at most only 4 guards on the reserve by the rule

so you got Nash and Paul that are locked
Nowitzki and Boozer are locked for reserve forwards
which mean 2 spots are open for Iverson, Ginobili, Parker, Davis, Deron, and Roy

^Why not three?
If McGrady cannot play...
Paul or Nash/Bryant/Anthony/Duncan/Ming + Paul or Nash/1 Iverson/Boozer/Stoudemire + 2 Davis/3 Williams ?

only baron davis deserves to be starter if tmac don't want to start.

mcgrady is averaging 28 minutes/game this season, playing 38 minutes and healthy, he would probably would have better numbers than other players who are likely to start the all-star game.
anyway, he will silence the haters in the 41 games left, we cant' lose with macgrady.

^No. Chris Paul is playing the best basketball from the PG position this season. Better than Baron.
He's shooting all better %'s and is simply scoring fewer ppg (1.1) because of attempts. He is averaging more assists and fewer turnovers (obviously yielding a better passing ratio) and is even pulling in more steals per game. His lack of rebounding, I'm sure, could be adjusted for pace (more possessions=>more shots=>more misses=>more rebounds), and despite that, 3.8 is pretty good for a *6 footer* that weighs *175 lbs*.
and he plays fewer minutes.
and his team is better. 28 wins>25 wins. 12 losses<18 losses.

In other words: Chris Paul>Baron Davis.

8-32.

24 games under .500

leading his team to the worst record in the East

Wade is still a top 15 players, but I don't think he should be an all star STARTER.

i totally agreed
last season everyone said Yao doesn't deserve it (but they didn't talk about Shaq)
this season it's T-Mac (not much mention about Wade)

i guess those two get a big exception because they got the championship ring

McGrady will probably sit this game out claiming he needs to rest his knee. I would hate to see Baron or Roy get snubbed and apparently McGrady would too. Paul and Kobe should start...
