He would become the 2nd best big man on the team starting at PF, he moves Lewis to his natural position and he moves Hedo to the bench, giving us a major weapon from there. I hope we get Webber. He would help not doubt.
All of the moving Lewis to his natural position and moving Hedo to 6th man sounds great. The only bad part is inserting Webber. Webber would be a tough fit on our team. I'm not sure that he would be truly happy with the role we need him to play and I'm definitely sure that we wouldn't be happy with the role he would like to play.
Webber has decent range, but shoots too much. Webber will give effort on defense, but isn't quick enough to stay with anybody. Webber can pass in a half court setting, but can't run on a break very well anymore. Offensively Webber could help us if he takes a backseat role. Defensively Webber would be a major liability. I realize that Hedo can't guard physical bigs but he can stay with perimeter players. Webber can't stay with anybody.
At this point he could set our team chemistry back again and that's not a risk I'd want to take on a player who isn't going to be here very long.
