That's horrible news. :nonono:

This team seems to be cursed.

Glad they caught it early, though.

Someone needs to exercise the demons effecting this team.

Glad to hear they feel the cancer has not spread.

As an FYI, I believe the term is malignant for cancerous. And Benign for non cancerous. You kind of have a warped combination of the two words. Maybe I am wrong though....

If they got it all, then that is good news. Did the article make any mention at all to how he is doing/handling all of this?

at this point if I were in the fo I would be willing to hire feng shui experts, voodoo doctors, or just about any manner of shamans to deal with this.
one of many very good reasons why I'm not in the Nuggets' organization.

Hey I'm glad it didn't go as far as Armstrong's cancer. Considering no one knew about it, this is good news. At least more bad things don't get added on top of this for Nene.

I was afraid if this when they said they were waiting for follow up test results. They removed his testicle so if it spread it was outside his testes. Mine was also removed. The hormone they found was lucky. It probably came up during random NBA drug testing. Very lucky. assuming what they are reporting is accurate, he got it early and has about a 10 to 15 percent reoccurance rate. They will watch his other testicle thru ultra sound imaging monthly for up to 3 years. I really doubt the 2 to 3 month statement. It took me several weeks before i could do simple things like walk up stairs... I couldn't imagine doing what a pro athlete does in practice or games for several months.... Your groin is sore for months. Your hormonal makeup is screwed up for months, lethargy mood swings, muscle loss, loss of appetite are just a few.. It very much f@cks you up...

My prayers go out to him....he is far from out of the woods

Malign is not a diagnosis. Malignant....bad and Benign....good are what it can be. It appears whoever reported this is getting them mixed up.

Nen's own website and the team have both said it's benign as well. Either way I wish him all the best

Initial reports indicated they reslts were good or Benign. A far more detailed and effective test was later performed on the tumor and the results were bad or malignant. The news isnt good...thats all

There might have been a confusion in the translation, not in the diagnosis. Maligno in portuguese = malignant in English.

Malign is what George Karl does to his team in public.

Already know he is shaved his hair, and i am pretty sure he will lose mass:

If he can guard Shaq, Camby can get Amare.

Return to Denver Nuggets
