OT--who would you like singing the Cdn athem at New Orleans?

Post#1 » by rapsfever15 » Tue Jan 22, 2008 7:27 pm

I don't know if people care about this or not, but I always find it exciting to see who sings our anthem at these allstar games. A lot of the time, I don't think they get the best people to sing our anthem. I wouldn't mind seeing Tamia (grant hill's wife) sing it again this year--she was the best in terms of very recent history.

who would you guys like to see singing the athem? do you even care?

Tamia for sure. She's done it before and gave one of the best renditions that I've ever heard.

Other than that, maybe get (Leslie) Feist to do it. That'd be a new one.

can't remember Keshia Chante's rendition. I know Fefe Dobson and Nelly Furtado gave bad renditions.

Didn't she try to do the French-English version, and messed up the Francais? Tony Parker (if he was at the ASG) must've been like wtf

Best one I've ever watched.
Obama did not shut down the practice of torture, but merely repositioned it, to the American norm. The torture regime of Ford through Clinton, year by year, produced more US-backed strapped-down agony than was produced during the Bush/Cheney years.

Buble is my obvious choice.

Cohen if I thought he'd even consider it. :)
