I've read this entire thread and wow.
How some of you can actually believe that Iguodala should be moved is beyond me. The only way he should be moved is for a 1st option or a top 5 pick (and even that is debatable). Iguodala's skillset is beyond perfect for a second option in this league and we will eventually find a 1st option to come here because of him. If you move him, the rebuilding project has probably taken a 3 year step backwards at least.
You are all overreacting because we are losing and he is taking the most shots (at a completely unreasonable 15 per game no doubt). He's not doing well right now because he is miscast, but he's the only guy with both talent and skill right now (Thad has the talent but he's still 2 years away).
I also like Thad just like the rest of you, but lets get serious, he's got a long way to go to become a 2nd option let a lone a 1st option. He also has many holes in his games that aren't being exposed as much because he doesn't get the ball.
Once the TO's pill up and his mistakes show through, I don't want to hear ANYONE whining about how he isn't that good or Mo started him too quickly.

I think keeping Iggy is a no-brainer. The only preventing factor would be any absurd contract demands, but then again, no other team is prepared to offer him a max contract...
I personally see him as an essential piece of the puzzle and assuming we fill that glaring void at PF in the off season, we'd have a pretty well rounded roster going forward next year with a nice mix of youth and experience that should be able to compete in the East.

Richard Jefferson had shown FAR more promise than Iguodala. RJ could actually beat his man off of the dribble and dunk on the entire opposing team. Iguodala seemingly can't beat anyone in the entire NBA off the dribble. As soon as a defender even thinks about double teaming while Iggy is dribbling he can't wait to pick up his dribble or just get extra conservative like when he turns around in a semi post position or shoots that cowardly pull up jump shot. There are no similarities between RJ and Iggy outside of them both attending Arizona and both of them entering the NBA with more potential than actual skill. RJ slashes and drives off of the dribble while finishing EMPHATICALLY in addition to shooting every kind of jump shot in the book. Iggy shoots pull up jumpshots. The end...

Well, at least most of us agree that Iggy is still a very promising player (who although is forced to play a role on the team he's not used to) and if we get that #1 option, then there's really nothing to worry about with Iggy.
And of course guys, there's always the ignore button for people who can't get their facts straight.

you fail to realuze that Rj at 23 was just as "bad" as Iggy is now.....so who is to say Iggy can't get better just like RJ did? oh right! i forgot that you don't believe in the practice of guys getting better....it just can't happen. It's funny that all of the guys you knob slob over have gotten better at things, Bowen and Bell sucked balls here and hey look they got better, those bums off the street have gotten better and thus they are in the league, RJ a few years ago was basically Iggy and oh crap now he's one of the league top scorers..........I think it's time for you to just realize that Iggy isn't going to be Jordan and move on and quit filling this board up with your diarehea of the mouth.
thank you.
thank you.

LOL RJ is like atleast twice the player Iggy is. This just goes to show you that people aren't actually watching the games and appreciating the skills. They are just following the fantasy statistics. RJ drives and is fearless. Iggy shoots fadeway jumpshots. I wonder if Iggy has told Cheeks "I don't do the driving thing anymore" just like Webber told O'Brien he doesn't do the post up thing anylonger? LMAO!!!
