Miami-Chicago

Post#1 » by miruss2001 » Tue Jan 22, 2008 4:54 pm

Tyrus Thomas and Victor Khryapa for Udonis Halsem

Why- Miami gets a little more athletic and younger and recognizes its perhaps time to rebuild.

Chicago gets a great system guy and solid locker room presence.

Note: instead of Khryapa, Sefalosha could be included if Chicago was so inclined and Miami was interested.

The last thing the Bulls need is another "system guy."

Haha. Could we really up the offer in such a manner if we feel like it?

I don't see UD as a good fit next to Big Ben... ChiTown needs a scoring PF and that's not what Haslem is.

For Miami, it's good value, but I'd only do this trade if we were able to trade Shaq for expirings and we are strictly rebuilding. Otherwise, UD stays in SoBe...

If we drafted Beasley, or traded Shaq for exprings, I'd be interested in something like this. But if not, we pass. TT is a mediocre fit next to Shaq.

Terrible for Chicago. We aren't going anywhere this years anyways.

Not that I don't like Haslem.

I'd rather package Haslem up with Blount and go for expirings than do this deal. I'm not a Tyrus fan...
