No, that's actually Memo, I noticed him do that during the game, but, I don't know how to get images from my DVR to the web or I might have done so myself.
It was very fast, I'll bet he's surprised he got caught.

"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

memo's actually a decent defender, you must be one of those that don't watch the games regularly.
umm have you ever heard of sarcasm??
I have watched nearly ever Jazz game that Memo has played in and I would have to say that being decent is nothing to brag about. Memo nor Boozer play decent defense, if they did we would have one of the leagues best records.

i saw this during the broadcast and wasn't sure i was seeing correctly...
as for the defense thing, I payed special attention to his defense last game in order to back up an educated opinion that he IS a decent defender
unfortunately decent = sucks. he generally stays in front of people, but doesn't really stop them from scoring, can't block shots, isn't intimidating and commits stupid fouls that lead to unessecary 3point plays.

He did have a poor defensive game, but, I think he was trying to avoid fouls for the most part.
But, you're right, he should not only stay infront of his man, he should be something of a barrier, instead of just backing up all the time.
