Asher stole my initial thoughts of River Phoenix. Someone who did great things and could have done much much more with his life.

There is some great stuff on IMDB about him. If I have time later I'll post a link. He was someone who became so deeply involved in his roles that it became hard to tell where he ended and his character began. He spoke about having to take Ambien to sleep at all after becoming the Joker.

I think a lot of what makes him seem like a douche bag is that he just wanted to act but hated a lot of the things that came with it, including the media, paparazzi, etc.

I hope this was an accident and not a suicide. Judging by the fact that he supposedly had pneumonia its entirely possible. Either way, the guy left a family and a 2 year old daughter and that last part is the part that makes me sad.

Sad as **** story. I was in complete shock when I read the headline on Yahoo earlier today, I still can't believe it. I really like the roles he's been taking on over his career. Looking forward to his part as The Joker in The Dark Knight.

For those who have heard his music, do you know where I could find it?
