^^^ and that's what makes this win a whole lot sweeter is the fact that Detroit was indeed trying their best to win, and they did play well, but we still ended up on top.

What's funny is I really could see Dwight having a game like that...

But in reality... when your starting shooting guard is Mo Evans... I do not fear your team in the slightest.

If Magic's starting backcourt is Arroyo and Evans, losing this game would be more embarrassing than losing to the Knicks.

Thank goodness we're playing that Magic... We really need a win.

well, it will all be blown to bits if we lose on Friday, so we should really do our best to focus on that game..and we really need to beat these Grizz tomorrow...they are struggling mightily right now and have already beaten us once...we need to bring the ruckus tomorrow, get a nice blowout and rest up for ESPN...

He's shot went in with 3+ left. But the inbound was with about 9.6 seconds. Had they called the foul immediately, only a second or so would have run off.

But since they didn't, ball came in, (clock started at 9.6) he dribbled, took 4 steps around Dwight and put up a shot, it went in (clock stopped at 3.5).

The point was had the 1st call been made - almost immediately after the inbound, it would have stopped about 8.5. He'd have to hit 2 FTs. We'd still be up by 1 point. We'd inbound run a second off the clock before getting fouled. Have to hit FTs.

They'd inbound again (down by at least 1 point), probably realizing that we'd foul and hoist up a shot awfully quick, like LBJ did to send that game into OT.

I'm downloading the video now to see if my timing is right.

** the video - graciously provided in the other thread - starts on our inbound. So Billups' shot went in with 3.6 left. But it wasn't a catch-n-shoot so time did run off **

I agree. Of the two games broadcast in Turkey - Utah and last night - Hedo had 26 and 27 points respectively.

The Magic should have a broadcast contract with a cable/satellite company in Turkey me thinks!! :nod:
