I get Bosh/Granger for D Will and Iggy...can't decide

Post#1 » by shtolky » Wed Jan 23, 2008 3:52 pm

10 team points league, scoring as follows

fg (2), 3p fg (1) d reb (1) o reb (2) stl (2) blk (2) TO (-1)

I would get Bosh and Granger, I'd give up D Williams and Iggy.

Granger should get hot now that O'neal is out, and Bosh is playing like crazy, but I love the two guys I'd give up. Please help

here is my what my team looks like:

PG: Deron Williams
SG: Josh Smith
G: Kevin Martin
SF: Carmelo Anthony
PF: Andrei Kirilenko
F: Andre Iguodala
C: Tim Duncan
Util: Leandro Barbosa
Util: Devin Harris
Util: Mo Williams

Bench:
Josh Boone
Sean Williams
Ronnie Brewer
Randy Foye

I think it's a wash too, but Bosh is playing out of his mind, and I think Granger could step up big without O'neal

I forgot to mention assists are 1 point. It's a points league, individual categories don't mean anything. It's all about how many points each player accumulates. If a guy scores 60 points but has 0 rebounds, steals, assists, etc, he's still by far the best player in the league.

That being said, player for player, do I win?

It's a close one. Bosh has been playing great lately. One thing you ought to consider is if Vince Carter gets traded to the Pacers, that could affect Granger.

I'm leaning towards taking this. Bosh is playing out of his mind, and Granger is stepping up, and with O'Neal out, he is the man in Indy. The fact that my league a points league allows me to deal Deron without having to worry about assists. Based purely on their overall games, I'm ever so slightly getting the better of the deal right?

I'm no fantasy whiz, but take it, since Bosh and Granger have been playing great as of late. :D
