Any post with the word "douchebaggery" is A+ in my book...

What's the over/under on the number of times the word "depth" is mentioned in the Toronto game thread?

Must you? I for one don't want this to turn into a flamewar before the game even starts. I like a significant portion of posters on this board but it seems someone always tries to bait the trolls with comments like Celtic Esquire's or Birdman's. So far its not as bad as last time anyway... lets not go there again.

Thanks and good luck to you also. Its hard to predict how this game will turn out. I know it sounds corny(gay), but can't help, but respect the Raptors (and their fans). They could really go on an offensive run if they are hitting their shots.

The tone of the Raptors fans has changed. In the offseason and during the fall they hated and devalued the Celtics. Now things are different. Now they hate and devalue the Raptors!

They were not realistic in their projection of the Celtics depth, resilience, and strength before. Most have changed in that respect.

If anything they're too hard on their own talented but young and injured team.

Posey's absence will have more impact than most would think, he always rips us apart off the bench, I don't remember him missing a big 3 against us when he was on Miami and now Boston. He plays tough D and we just don't match-up well with him. That will hurt your bench. I think Bosh goes off on Garnett tonight and we just might avoid the season sweep.

I expect a tight game without Posey, lots of 3's from the Raps. But come the 4th quarter the Boston D-Party will kick in right on time and we should pull away. I think Pierce will have a solid game as well; 25 pts, 5 ast, 8 boards.

You might be right, but Pierce tends to play a lot of minutes with the bench which might counteract it a bit.

Hoping the Raptors will play some zone defense. Cs need more practice against it.

I remember earlier this year when bargnani guarded KG tough, thinking the raps would be a lot better than they have ended up being.

Should be a fun game. It's been all Calderon all night for the Raps since Ford went down. He's not under the radar any more. Great, great, find by Colangelo. The international market is the one area Ainge has not had success in cultivating.

Hope we continue this recent offensive resurgance. Keep taking it to the hole Paul. Keep aggressive Rondo. And keep your head in the game Tony. I look forward to watching this one.

Just lettin' u know it was actually the much-hated Rob Babcock who brought Calderon over...

I just want a win, and it doesn't matter if it's by 1 point or 10+. Toronto is a very good team and actually one of those teams I am frightened of a little bit.

Good luck to the Celtics, I am REALLY impressed with how Danhny Ainge managed to turn the franchise a full 360. I've always loved Pierce, Ray Allen is a class-act, and no one displays as much passion for the game then KG.

I hope this game stays close though, the last game was downright embarrassing for the Raptors, I hope it's like the first game where we went into OT.

Should be a good game tonight. In the 3 previous games against you, we haven't shown you guys who we are as a team. Hopefully that can change tonight. Good luck

360 is child's play. I want Danny to turn the franchise a full 1080 with a smooth landing.

Well, depends upon your starting point. If that point is the 1986 season, then, yes, 360 hopefully works.

Powe will probably see some more minutes with Posey gone. Baby and Powe should eat up the weak Toronto front line on the glass. My biggest concern with this game is KG getting into foul trouble matching up against Bosh. When Kevin's out of the game the team's not the same, and no Posey means that we're either going to Scal on Bosh(not that bad of an idea), or someone slower like Powe or BBD is going to have to try to guard him. I know from fantasy that Bosh ahs been posting some pretty ludicrous stats over the last couple of weeks. Rondo has had problems with the quicker point guards this year, so hopefully Calderon doesn't give him too much trouble.
