All eyes, including S.I.'s, on sizzling Chipper

"This is a six-week stretch," Cox said. "I've seen him really good, a week or 10 days where he's on fire. But this has been since Day 1. It's been pretty spectacular."

The last Braves player to hit .400 this late in the season was Ralph Garr in 1971, when he slipped to exactly .400 in the 39th game and below .400 the next day.

This is a crazy streak. Chipper is on a tear. It has been great to see someone like him anchor a team for as long as he has.

Under! It does look like he's on a mission and hopefully he gets the batting title this year.

Yeah I'd have to take the under too. To hit .375 for an entire season would be a crazy accomplishment, although hitting left-handed I think Chipper has maintained .400+ for an entire year now. I do think that he will continue on this momentum for a while but I can't see him hitting over like .360 for the year. That would be awesome if he did, though.
