Paul tried to go inside a bunch a times, they werent giving him any calls. It was a pretty physical game overall.

Not sure what you consider a bunch. And, to be fair, I am cognizant that he drove and dished a few times, which serves the same purpose of getting high percentage shots. I realize the refs mostly let 'em play, but, Paul made it easy on 'em most of the night by settling for jumpers. Not even his pump and dip move to draw fouls on the perimeter. It comes across as lazy from someone with his propensity, historically, for drawing contact. Obviously he hasn't been THIS bad all season, but, his FTA per FGA are near career lows. Could be many reason why and from a source other than him. So, I'm trying not to criticize the effort, but rather the situation. But, it's not something I feel is beneficial to the team if it continues. It may be time to cut his minutes if it's a matter of not having his legs because of the increased effort on defense this season.

I'm impressed that the Celtics only lost by two despite the Raptors shooting 15/21 from 3.

We (Raptors) are the #1 three point shooting team in the league, and last I checked we were #2 in free throw percentage. Don't act like it can't happen again.

Umm ... 71 freaking percent from three. 71 percent. 60 + percent from the floor. I suppose it could happen again, but it would have to be very special circumstances.

seeing as you won by two on a shooting night from the gods..... (2 point win) I dont see that happening again against the celtics.

credit is given when due and it was due tonight. but you gota look at the end result. it took every bit of hot shooting and your best shot to beat us by two.

nothing to get cocky about.

Good game guys. Can't believe the Raps pulled it off. Don't worry, we will never play this good (offensively) again. See ya in the ECF's! (one can hope)

You guys can shoot that is for sure. With that said it won't happen again. No way the Raptors ever shoot 75% from downtown again.

On a night when we had 18 turnovers and the refs using their Boston friendly whistles, you guys can't take advantage and beat us. Not like that will happen again so no cockiness on either end.

Great game, guys. Now go and steam-roll the rest of the teams (you probably will too).

Hope you can/did ignore the few trolls that manage to trickle over here.

Hopefully if we have Ford and Garbajosa (and you have Posey) back for the playoffs, and if we get a chance to play again, we will give you a more competitive game(and not rely on our shooting).

I know this kind of talk happens in the game thread frequently, but c'mon, let's not whine about ref calls on the opposing team's board. I'm sure many on here will go the other way on that one. Fans LOVE to overplay that hand.

a Celtics win or Raps win..it don't matter...I'd say games like this should be on National TV, than showing the Miami Heat all the time lol...that game was intense...Celtics is one heck of a team...Raptors never turn the ball over that much in a game

Raps fans...there's no harm in wishing Celts fans a good game (it definitely was that), but let's not get cocky. Celebratory posts are more than welcome on our board, but let's try to avoid overstating our one win in the season series.

I hope the two teams do meet in the playoffs so the C's can kick a mudhole in the Raptors asses...if your sorry asses can make the playoffs. Hows that for cockiness. 8)

Take that **** to your board and give orders not here bud. 8)
