Kirk murdered us tonight. Unstoppable. As much as I like Feisty, I think we would have been better off with Ike and Harrison in the frontcourt tonight...

I wish.. Jamaal was terrible tonight, and JO doesn't care about this team.

I know Danny had a great game today, but honestly, he should've had about 45-50 points. He didn't demand the ball enough, and his teammates didn't try to find him enough either.

It was easy for Hinrich, seeing as he's the PG, so he has the ball in his hands at the start of every possession. There were 3 separate occasions where Danny hit 3 or 4 in a row, or scored on 5 of 7 possessions, and we didn't go back to him. Not even a touch. Danny has to demand it and we need to find him.

Whenever Reggie would get hot, you'd better believe that Mark Jackson was going his way... And even if Reggie were tightly covered, he'd fake-and-go w/ his runner, usually drawing the foul, or he'd create enough contact to draw a foul and get to the foul line, where he'd calmly sink 2 FTs.

Danny needs to develop that, b/c he has the most potential on the team, and he has actually started to realize a small bit of it. The only reason he's doing so well is b/c that small bit he has realized, he's almost perfected: Hitting open Js, getting to the line some, off-the-dribble/top-of-the-key shot that not even tall-@$$ Noah could defend.

Danny needs to get more selfish, plain and simple. We've seen that with Dunleavy. That NY game, he was going coast-to-coast off of defensive boards, he was driving, he was pulling 3s from 4 feet behind the arc. You saw it last game with Kareem, to a lesser extent, but he was creating his own shots... that step back that was timely, those 3s that he was cutting a little bit harder to get open for, moving towards the ball and making yourself available to the driving teammate. Even Diener against Sacto last week was pulling Js in that 3rd quarter, cutting toward the ball, and shooting w/ utmost confidence.

When you start to hit like that, you gotta get the ball, and don't give it up until you miss at least 2x consecutively. For someone as "nice" and "selfless" on the court as Danny, he may feel he's being too greedy, but that greed is helping a struggling team. That was something Reggie was great at. Killer instinct, greed, swagger, ego, en fuego, the zone, whatever you call it, the good ones have learned and the great ones have mastered. I've always thought that Danny has had it; now it's time that he "Realizes His Ken!!!" (Streetfighter reference).

I agree. It's never selfish if you're helping the team win. If you're on fire, and you're getting good looks you keep shooting. There's no sense in passing to some guy who hasn't had it going all season, sometimes all career ha, just to avoid being called a ball hog. The truly great ones take the criticism of being labeled that with the wins and individual and team accolades. Danny will learn that if he wants to step up to that next level. Having a pg, a coach, and a veteran leader on the team to help him learn all that would go a long way too.
