what did he say?

my quote from the Trailblazers thread...

thEthIEf wrote:how about Evans man...

I got a chance to talk to him after the game, I was just giving him his props and he was just so humble, he said something like

"oh man, thank you so much, it means a lot, im glad you enjoy my game, it was a big shock for me tonight to hear all the fans clapping for me when my names was called"

i was like wow, non basketball player in a basketball players body...

i asked him about his plans next season because I told him I would love to have him back and he said "it boils down to the Magic, I really really want to be here next season, I like everyone and we have been clicking like we've known each other forever, but i do honestly want to play here again, maybe forever it's up to them"

awesome stuff...

Hopefully. He's really making me think about my signature image.

Three straight wins hopefully getting back on the winning track. Don't want to talk too soon. Great to have bench players like Brian Cook contributing regularly and not just 1 games out of 20. Watching Carlos tonight, if he can start on an NBA team, then surely JJ can get some decent playing time.

You and a couple other people complained about Arroyo, I don't see how his play hurt this team. He looked to pass first (see 7 assists). He played decent defense (see 2 steals). I'll take 5 attempts even if he only made 1. We don't need a score first PG, if only Arroyo and Jameer would think that way every night. I'd take 9 and 7 from Jameer or Arroyo ANY NIGHT.

well in prospective, it was pretty easy for Arroyo to get dimes tonight the way the team was shooting as a whole, if you look at the dishes 5 of the 7 were to jump shooters, and they were also dished out on the first pass...

outside of that, Arroyo had a bad night, he was such a pedestrian tonight just like i stated earlier...he moved out the way in the lane a lot, he game to help out on Pau and Swift on defense only to leave his man on the roam which forced seconds chance shots and gave up some points to those assignments...

Magic get even, look for the Magic to take a lot of 3's. Dwight will dominate Darko and Pau. Go Magic!

did I call it or what? Magic hit 18 of 33 3's, Pau and Darko couldn't stop Dwight as he recorded his league leading 38th dbl dbl. also solid contributions by the other players who played.

Given. But how many times have we seen Arroyo decide to shoot it before passing it off. At least he realized who was hot and got them the ball.

Details are details, but I mean you and I both know the times we want to throw stuff at whoevers playing the Points head or at the TV when they shoot when Hedo or Rashard even Dwight would have a better shot at making it. But I guess I can see where you guys are coming from.

Might want to add a Brian in front of cook. I drank a couple drinks tonight and about spit my teeth out, when I had seen this, if you look quick and don't pay attention you might mistake it for the male rod. and adding to it "I worry it will blow up in my face". lol.

Sorry, Southern Comfort and Coke is talking at a high level tonight.

Lol, seems everyone's on the same page with the post from LaVal

Good stuff though bro, Cookie Monster is really coming through in the time he's given. With the production of Evans and Cook I'm not upset with the Ariza trade. We got a similiar product in Evans just a little bit older and able to shoot pretty good. And we got a big man that can extend the floor with 3's and outside shots. I'll take it

svg's really been a straight shooter with cook and cook has been huge as a result. if cook keep shooting and penetrating the way he has, you can bet that cook will get a lot of play. and to whoever thinks he sucks cook has proven otherwise over the past couple months. the more he produces the less people will come down hard on cook when he screws something up

Evans and Cook together provide far more than Ariza did by himself. We are practically getting a double double from the two and at least 2 threes on a consistent basis. For the next 8 weeks Ariza's numbers will read this.... 0
