That's how you make it rain from downtown. :D 18 off 33 for a new franchise record. Hedo led the way with 26 points tonight (6 of 8 from downtown) with Rashard also hitting stride. Dwight with a relaxing 16 and 10 for yet another double double. Bench came up big again with Kedo and Cookie hitting double figures. JJ got a nice quick 7 points late.

Great to see we stopped guys like Navarro from hurting us and this a well deserved easy win.

Our guys are playing superb this past week as these next two games in Detroit and at home vs. Boston should be interesting for the whole league to keep an eye on.

Also, I'm not the only one that cringed once David announced that Jameer would try to play Friday. This lineup is SOLID, just bring the effort and we're in every game.

If we come ready to play like we have in the past couple games we'll win the games. We gotta expect it to be a playoff atmosphere and never give up.

Funny radio moment of the night belongs to Scott Anez during the Magic postgame show as he called Rashard 'Rash*t' while reading the box score.
Good thing Rashard didn't play sh*tty. :)

Mo is really the piece that makes that starting 5 well balanced, and he's making Kebo look like a bum sometimes when it comes to hustle and defense. Good thing Kebo is still scoring well from the bench.

 Had to read that twice

Finally an easy win, it's been a while since we had one.

Can someone do a video compilation of all 18 three pointers? That would be an awesome vid.

I'm hoping for Jameer to return soon.

this was a great game!

18 3's..the one we had 16 was when dennis had 11.

cook was good but he needs to stop fouling.

i dont get all the arroyo hate..didnt have the best night shooting the ball but 7 assist 1 turnover isn't horrible.

hedo continues being the man

i hope we get dwight more opportunities tho.

dooling i mean he played good but sometimes i wish he doesnt shoot on the 1st possesion.

im not trying to add to the injury or anything, but does anyone recall this

stro4swift wrote:Stro just schooled D12! Looks like he didn't like it...

i asked him, when??? i only remember when Dwight and Cook were low, Dwight went over and Cook went under and Stro dunk it home on Cook with Dwight out of bounds

and to this, the reply

stro4swift wrote:-= original quote snipped =-

Well Stro pump faked and D12 bited on it and jumped early so Stro made the easy dunk. Then, Stro fouled him on the floor and Dwight looked mad that he couldn't get back at him. It looked like Darko and Stro had fun for a while trying to keep up with him tonight, which is not easy.

guess we had different feed in Orlando...

If Jameer still is hurting at all, they should activate him but not play him unless they absolutely have to have him. He needs to get healthy.

Have you guys noticed that you usually don't post nearly as much when the Magic have a good game?

When we suck, I go into a rage and spout off criticisms at a rapid pace.

When we're good, I'm usually sitting back and enjoying the game instead of posting every 5 seconds.

That's why I've made such a run in the past month.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

This is true, but I think it's pretty much like this on every board.

In fact, it's pretty much like this with anything in life.

it's good to get a blowout, but i just get worried because i know the team can't shoot like this all the time. BUT, as long as they bring it like this in the playoffs, then i'll be happy.

also, just a quick note. 3 mins, 7 pts, 75%fg. that's what i'd call efficient and deserving of more time - especially in a blowout.

why complain when things are going well?

The Magic really blew this game wide open in the second half. Then again, the Grizzlies played poor defense once again and kept turning the ball over time and time again. Hedo was on fire from beyond the arc and lead the Magic to that franchise record for most three bombers against an opponent. Great win Magic!

A couple interesting stats.

1) This is only the second game of the seaon Howard played less than 30 minutes.

2) Redick had 7 point in 3 minutes. (bah)

Best quote:
"... and that's why we were ... settling for the 3-point shot," said Rashard Lewis ..."

LOL I wish the Magic could settle into 15+ threes more often!

Great performance.

Hope we don't get too 3 happy though. Considering we have arguably the best big man in the game down low. I counted numerous times when Dwight was in the post ready to catch a pass and the ball went sailing over his head. Luckily they went in... tonight. Seriously, we underuse Dwight so much it's not funny. Oh well, we won so I'm not gonna complain too much.

Well that was the classic let down game of the past couple of years and just seems we played with focus through out the game and kept building on the lead.

Hedo has come out of that mini slump of his with a vegenence; cook and evans seem to be warming up in their roles now which is good.

Lets keep this roll going.
