In the five games Jameer has been out, we've averaged 10 turnovers, which is 4.5 fewer than our average.

I think Jameer's foot has been bothering more than we know. That I think has affected his game and aggressiveness. He said he can't cut very well when it was bothering him.

Before he sat out, he wasn't attacking the rim nearly as much as he was earlier in the season.

I think that Chaunsey Billups is posting on this Board under several different names. GLYDE could you please check on that. Anyone who thinks that Nelson is significantly better than Carlos or KeDo is dillusional. Our PGs dont strike fear in the minds of other teams but Ill bet you anything Billups and others would rather play against Nelson than Carlos or especially KeDo.

Not sure if you noticed this, but dwight had a subpar game yesterday and we blew them out. Dwight doesn't need to have monster games for us to win. I LOVE how Dooling and Arroyo alternate full quarters. It lets everyone get in a groove.

actually dwight howard had a pretty decent game, 16/10/3blocks in 29 minutes. dwight doesn't need to have a monster game when you are shooting 54% from three point land and playing memphis.

I've been saying this forever. Jameer cant play defense at all. His offense is up and down AT BEST.

Carlos is a better defender than jameer. Watching Jameer try and play defense is a total joke. He gets totally lit up EVERY game. Carlos isn't a great defender but he's an upgrade over Jameer defensively (and offensively about half the time). Keyon is obviously the best defender of the bunch but lacks a PG mentality.

That being said the rotation should be arroyo and dooling. period. Trade or sit jameer.

i want the rotation to be jameer/keyon. carlos arroyo is just plain horrible. SVG seriously has to take him out the game because he is chucking away and looking for shot first. if anyone actually thinks carlos is better than jameer is smoking some good stuff. i trade arroyo away for a bag of chips. there is a reason utah and jerry sloan didn't want him and traded him for a 36 year old veteran and then detorit traded his ass for someone like cato. he sucks.

Ofcourse it had nothing whatsoever to do with the fact that Utah had Stockton and Detroit has Billups at the point. You can put Nelson, Dooling, and whoever other guard we have in that situation and they will be traded too.
I'm not totally sold on Carlos either but this contention is just flawed. When it all boils down to it, we need an upgrade at the starting PG position, none of the ones we have now is the answer that will bring us to a Championship. The sooner Otis admits to this and does something about it the better it will be for this ballclub.

Jameer is better than Carlos. How quickly people forget. Wow a little winning streak without him even though we were on FIRE earlier in the season with him starting. Hmmmmm.

All you have to do is look at the games. Carlos is a worse defender I don't know how people don't see that. He is barely taller than Jameer but is considerable slower in lateral quickness and Arroyo probably has a 2 inch leap. Arroyo gets credit for being a better defender because the TEAM defense has been quite crisp lately. He is constantly getting beat but someone is usually there to cover up his mistakes.

Also Jameer is a more efficient shooter and scorer. He can even get to the basket which Arroyo rarely does.

seattle also has a two headed pg now with watson and ridnour. both of the them are legit pass first pg's. we should swing a deal with some of our expirings and a second round pick. or maybe even take a shot at delonte west since he is getting no burn anymore

And he will get abuse once again by Billups, unless Stan, will put Mo Evans on Chauncey, which will be open season for Hamilton, God help us!!!!!!!!!!!! Jameer is such defensive liability.......

People (the same?) also were quick to say Jameer is great and wonderful at the start of the season.

People (the same?) are quick to praise Hedo and forget about Turkoflu, but not do the same for Jameer.

No question his effectiveness has decreased.

- Is it foot related?
- Is it due to increased roles of $hard and Hedo?
- Is it other team's scouting?

Barring trades, Jameer is our PG. Before he went out, SVG was starting him regularly again.

1. the winning formula seems to be letting hedo make the plays while dooling is harassing the opposing backcourt along with ev/bogans.
2. arroyo is hardly the reason for the recent mini surge.
3. but he is not a detriment either.
4. jameer, since he is trying to do more, becomes a liability.

ultimately SVG needs to settle on a pg rotation. there is no need to go three deep in our pg position each game. a solid rotation of jameer and keyon works just fine for the moment.

Amen! Turnovers and improved defense are the key for our winning streak. As much as I dislike Arroyo, he's definitely playing a better all around game the Jameer and should continue to start.
