I'm suprised both AI and Melo are going to be starters, not sure that the Nuggets are good enough to deserve two starters.

But good for them, they both have had very good seasons. Their scoring has droped, but its good see Melo picking up his rebounding efforts, and AI his assists.

I can't believe it's been 20 years since the Nuggets have had an All-Star starter.

If this is actually true, id be very surprised.

Very true. But then again, it was either going to be us or the Rockets, and our two deserve it more than their two.....and our team is better, as well.

Good point, hadn't thought about that. Much rather see AI/Melo than T-Mac and Yao again

it'll be so much fun. those two are so fun to watch because of how they run the floor - it would be even better if somehow jason kidd put on a west uniform and played with kobe, and melo and even AI for some possesions - it'll be like this summer at the Fiba America's - those were so fun. kidd just passed and passed and never took a shot. :P

Melo was the best player hands down offensively. kobe had some trouble, but melo just scored so easily with his athleticism. i was really caught off guard by it, because i thought Lebron would out play everyone, but Lebron really relies on foul calls and still hasn't gotten that the fiba rules are different.

anyway - lets just say if melo played in Europe - he'd be MVP for 10 years straight! and if Melo had a true elite point like say a CP3 or a young jason kidd - wowza. not because he's playing against inferior players, but because he truly understands the fiba rules and takes it and flies with it, while other like kobe/lebron are complaining about foul calls, you know?

as a hornet fan, it would suck for me, but it would be really enjoyable to watch!

and AI is like a 6 foot KG. warrior every game, even though he's so immature lol!

I'd rather see them solidly in first place in the division, and not losing to teams like Charlotte and Atlanta, even on the road.

And I'd MUCH rather see them be able to beat Phoenix, Portland, and the Lakers.

cmooon, let's celebrate this for now and worry about them when we face them :P

we probably wont have 2 starters in a long long time in a all-star game.

I'm so glad Iverson got in before T-Mac.

Congrats to Melo and Iverson and hopefully Camby for backup C.

I'm not really sure AI deserved to start over some others (don't get me wrong, I'm glad he will) but he definitely deserved it more than tmac, imo.

it's crazy that AI only beat out tmac by like 8 thousand votes.

Wow. We've come along way from Juwan Howard being our biggest All-Star candidate.

Might as well have the two stars in there. At least they're both truly All-Stars, unlike the year 50 Detroit Pistons were All-Stars because their team had the best record at the break.
