Lebron's on a contender. Wade's on the 2nd worst team.
Didn't you just say the cavs won't have anyone on their roster come 2010/2011?

Lebron plays for his hometown team. Wade doesn't.
Wade won a title in this city, and all but owns this city with what he has been able to do for this franchise and this community.

Toss in the fact that Wade is entering his prime and facing a major rebuild and I have a hard time understanding why he is more likely to stick around.
Rebuild? - No. Retool is more like it.

If they can hit on their draft pick next season, sign a solid Free Agent or two next season to compliment Wade, something they didn't this season, and have Shaq relatively healthy and on the floor, they should be fine.

It's not as if the Heat are getting their tooshies handed to them each and every night, which would lead you to believe that there in more trouble than anyone could imagine. They've been RIGHT there in basically all of these losses, 13 out of the 15 games have all been decided in the latter parts of the 4th. -- A Williams and Davis can be swapped for a Rose and a Pietrus, and you might have a totally different result, because of the difference in dynamic these 2 could bring.

You even said the future flexibility is equal. So why wouldn't you give the nod to the player with the better present and immediate future?

I think both are staying, but stand by the idea that Wade is more likely to leave than Lebron.
Your latter post did nothing but supercede your OP I quoted, but w/ever.

Reggie Miller sucks. And the Hawks appreciate the Nets.

Meh. Wade's only 26. I think he'll be in his prime right when his contract is up and the team's got cap space and young players to make more title runs.

But you never know, given his playing style, whether or not his best basketball years could be ahead of or behind him. Nothing's promised, but I think he'll be fine by then, and so will the Heat.

lol i'm fine with that. Marco Belinelli never plays anyways, might as well put him in the end of the 3rd quarter to make his 6 fouls useful.

HAHA Boone is owning the Warriors, they're using hack-a-boone but so far he's 3-4 from the line, once they started hacking him he also ripped one of the Warriors clean as they tried to dribble by him (lol)...

BOONE.

Man, what happened to the Oracle. Boring Thursday night out there. Not the same energy that the crowd usually shows. I think it's more pumping when the Warriors play against teams like the Suns, Mavericks, Spurs, Celtics etc. That underdog feeling feels great.

That would be sweet if Boone ended the game with like 40 points going 30 of 60 at the line.

That's an old 26 though.

I don't know if Wade's going to have a long career. Granted, any thing can happen at any given time in regards to injury, but Wade's body seems a lot older than 26.

South beach is a strong draw, but basketball wise, I think Cleveland with LeBron has a better long term future than the Heat do with Wade.

Just my opinion.

It's an insult to Belinelli, even for a rookie, and it's still the 3rd quarter. WTF Nelson.

Go Nets. Go Boone.

Golden State needs to get it in gear. I want the Hawks to be able to go on a 10 game losing streak and never move from the 7th spot.

During the hack-a-boone sequence Boone went 6-10 from the line, the Nets also increased their lead.

I hope Nelson goes to hack-a-Boone some more in the fourth quarter.

*My favorite part about hack-a-boone is that it KILLS the Warriors running game / momentum. I love it!

Yea, I'm surprised. Usually they're loud regardless. It was pretty damn loud during that T-Wolves game

For all the heat Frank has taken, he made the right decision of keeping Boone on the floor. Nelson probably wants the big guy out of the floor because he had Harrington at the 5, and Boone is not a high % FT shooter so maybe that's why hack-a-Boone. Or maybe he just wanted to get the ball back fast so his team can get the ball back....one way of playing D I guess...and it back-fired. LOL.

I love watching Golden State play. That's not always a good thing, but you just see a lot of stuff you can't/won't see with other teams.

The warriors go back to their bread and butter, chucking threes.
