OT: Favorite current non-Sixers NBA team
Other than the Sixers, what NBA team to you like- and do you want us to build in that mold?
If no current team, what historical team. I liked the 80's Suns and Sonics.

The Memphis Grizzlies are my other team. I love the Grizz cuz Memphis is my hometown. I of course was at the Memphis Philly game when they first played this year. And I was also at the Memphis Philly game when Ai went down and Cwebb and the sixers rallied to pull off a win. I had seats right by the sixers tunnel and I leaned over and high fived C-web. Webber back in his day still falls 2nd behind AI for me in all time favorite players not named Jordan(cuz everyone was pretty much a Jordan fan when he played)

I love the fact that nobody has said the Nuggets yet. I certainly won't be the first. Iverson could've been a lot more gracious towards Philly in the last year. I figured a lot of Iverson fans would become quasi-Nuggets fans... but personally, I don't miss him at all. Good riddance. I love his heart. But we should've traded him 3 or 4 years earlier. Now you really see how impossible it is to win with him. He just takes entirely too many shots. And absolutely zero on-the-ball defense. Further, it seems like some of his comments towards Philly and Coach Cheeks have turned off any would-be Nuggets fans in Philly. They'll never win anything there. And they are completely cap-screwed for years to come.
I like what Portland has done. New Orleans has created a nice little squad. Also, I am very impressed with what Mitch Kupchak has done in L.A., too. And while Otis Smith vastly overpaid Rashard Lewis last summer, and Orlando is underperforming, I always have an affinity for that team because I pull for Jameer Nelson.

My favorite non-Sixer teams (to watch) are the Suns, Jazz and Golden State.
Not saying I want the Sixers to build a team to play those styles, just the teams I prefer to watch when not watching the Sixers.
If it's about building the Sixers like another franchise, I would say it's clearly San Antonio. They have a little bit of everything you need to be a championship contender....
1 - Dominant big (Duncan) who can play on both ends of the court
2 - Efficient PG (Parker) who can penetrate and shoot the mid-range jumper
3 - Wings (Ginobili, Finley) who are versatile and can shoot the 3
4 - A wing who is a defensive stopper (Bowen)
5 - Bench full of smart veteran players (Barry, Horry, Finey, Ginobili)
6 - HOF caliber head coach

Being a Canadian, I root a bit for the Raptors, and of course for Nash and the Suns.
Nash currently is my favourite player to watch, including 76er players.

Phoenix has been my second-favorite team for the last three years, but their recent behavior (selling off draft picks, not just trading Kurt Thomas, but giving up 2 #1s to lose him, and stubbornly insisting that they can win a title with terrible interior D) is getting on my nerves. I still like the Suns, but I think Golden State might've passed them as my second-favorite. Also like Portland, Toronto, and Utah.
Was a big fan of the Kings during their Webber-Bibby-Peja heyday. It's a shame that they've fallen so much.
