I'll give you that, only if you give me the fact that we run the triangle. I'm pretty sure you won't though

Guess what? We have everything they don't. They might possibly have the one piece we need. We will never know, until it happens. Till then I'm still waiting for another possible trade/signing that is realistic to argue about.

So, you want a 6'9"PF/C' who is lousy on offense ( Kwame Lousy) to clog the lane with Bynum and you think thats a difference between us and CHI? To make a comparison to DET is irrelevant because a) that was 4 years ago and b) their other big man stretched the defense. Plus 2/3 very solid offense weapons who played team D. Different situation.

The link is for those who doesn't understand the triangle, if you don't know then click it.
Thanks kiddo, I think I got it figured out.

Highly profound thesis statement. Truly a work of art. Must have been formulated by a person with a PhD or a masters in communication.

It's not about scoring, its about defense. It's about role players that would fit the core of Kobe+Bynum. Damn.

What abut his defense? Do we really need to pay 15 mil for a weakside shotblocker?

Discussing it another thread doesnt make it any more correct.

The fact of the matter is he is a bad fit here. His contract aside, he doesnt give us what we need at that position.

His numbers have been on the decline and he is 33/34 years old.

There is a reason why CHI fans think he would be a good fit here, because they want to get rid of him. 4.5 points on 8.7 rebounds , 1.9 assists on 34% @ 14 million a year is the answer? Sorry I dont see it.

If you guys can come up with a better plan with good reason to use Kwame's expiring to trade for an impact role player, then I'll give it to you guys. If not, then let Kwame expire, and let's keep Radman. We'll still win a lot of games next year, but it doesn't fix the main concern of a defensive identity.

I have responded to that. Failure to acknowledge my previous responses on this very thread is only your choice. Don't blame me if I don't feel like repeating myself.

Till then, keep complaining about our defense because I know I will.

This team has a defensive identity when Bynum and Ariza are healthy. Its a bit of a stretch to throw us in cap hell for Wallace, who is declining rapidly with a bad contract.

keep panicking when our 2 defensive players go down with injury only to get a bloated contract and a liability on the offensive end.

For their salaries, I'd much rather have Turiaf than Wallace.

Also, again, remember. This is 2007 ben wallace not 2004. We were legitimately the number 1 seed when healthy. No need to do all f these desperation trades.

I would do the trade...get rid of Kwame and the space cadet for a guy who's been DPOY at least once (maybe only once not sure.)

I think the reason he "sucks" on the Bulls is because he doesn't care abou the Bulls. There's no leader on that team, not even a coach. The team is in dysfunctionality. I've seen many of their games this season with league pass and when Big Ben decides to play; he's still very capable.

Look at some of his statlines. If he was playing with Kobe and Bynum he'd be a lot happier than playing with freaking Chris Duhon and Joakim Noah on a team that needs Eddie Griffin (or whoever it is) to call team meetings.

The Bulls have all of these young prospects (noah, t. thomas, the miraculous comeback of Joe Smith) they're trying to find their identity. Lakers have a serious hole at the C and PF. I think Big Ben can fill that, overpaying? yes.. but sometimes you need to overpay for a solution instead of putting an Mbenga bandaid on it.

I agree with what you're saying: I'd take Turiaf anyday. Even if the gap in the contracts wasn't so huge.

Turiaf younger, better for chemistry, and has the potential to be a starting PF with a complete game.
