well i think Mitchell wants Bargniani to be tougher...rebound, elbow people, yell at people...Ben Wallace people basically...He stated that bargniani is "an ass" inside him...

I think that it is NOW, but it sounds like that's what the whole 'breaking bargnani' thing was about. He probably came in with somewhat of a 'tude (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) but with smitch, it seems like he doesn't want any player having a bigger ego than his (not surprising), so he 'breaks' them and moulds them into what he wants.

So it sounds like bargs wasn't exactly too receptive to smitch's "coaching", but then maybe realized that he has no other option but to take the abuse and do as he's told. :dontknow:

It may pay off in the end, and smitch has said that bargs' attitude has been great as of late, as well as his work ethic..so maybe it's working?

I didn't get the part about Sam not letting Jose practise, but I can't agrue with the results. You've proved me wrong Sam Mitchell.
