I do try to stay within the rules. I did not make fun of the poster just the jornalists that invent things.
I would consider a rumor a rumor when it is based on some sort of credible basis like the Jack Haley- Boozer to Lakers rumor. that had credibility because the front office was actually working on the deal, but when it fell apart Haley took the heat because he jumped the gun and made it sound like it was already done.

the Wallace-Kwame,Rad "rumor" did not have any basis because the article clearly said that it was a jornalist idea and the media took interest because it made sense to both teams.

nowhere did it say that the Lakers or Bulls where actually even considering it. in other words the jornalist made it up the same way we come up with our own trade ideas here in this forum or same with Vescey in this case.

If you're all referring to my comment about not knowing the rules because I'm not in the 4 digit posts; the purpose was to let you know that my only goal was to contribute to the Laker page with a stimulating idea when i wrote that Ben Wallace post.

If you want to say I pulled out of my A$$ then at least read when I say take it for what it's worth. I just want to talk laker basketball; if you don't like the way I do it then send me a message and I'll go about it differently.

you didn't pull anything out of nowhere, the jornalist who write the "rumors" do. you are contributing to the Lakers page and thank you for doing so.

Its the idiots that have no source or anything legit to backup their so called RUMORS
They're sitting around coming up with all these worthless articles just to keep a paycheck and hold on to their jobs while they should be parking cars as a Valet in the Staple center .

Maybe then they will have something valuable to write about .

Like when I was parking L.O Mercedes I found a big BLUNT .

Next on sportscenter ..........

Another example of garbage journalism, this one rumors Bibby to L.A., which we know is a joke.

As much as I like Kidd I say no. Why? Because we have 2 PGs in Fisher and Farmar who I believe have done an excellent job so far this year, lets admit it folks most of us probably knew they would play well this year ...but no this well! I see Farmar developing into a Tony Parker type player and somebody I hope to see starting for the Lakers for many years to come. Even ESPN said he might be the best pure PG from his draft class. Besides, we need to trade for a bigman.

cool cool. I realize that a statement without supporting evidence is an just an opinion. Quick question as long as we're discussing how to use this site:

How do you guys decide who does the game threads? First one to do it?

Jamal Magloire wants out of N.J. also.

This trade works perfectly for us but I doubt N.J. does it although you never know Trade ID #4437128.
The only thing that makes me thing NJ would say no is because they are rebuilding (cause there getting Lebron) which is why Vince is on the trading block and they probably don't have to take on Radman's contract but maybe if we replaced it with Walton they would do it or signed Ronny to a 3 year 14 mill they would do it or we give Farmar and Critt since we would have Kidd and Fisher to play pg which would be the best pg duo ever.

Magloire
Kidd
RJ

For

Odom
Kwame
Critt
Radman
Ariza

This trade solves all our problems. Literally all of them. Until Bynum comes back we have a 24-25 point a game scorer as our second option who would normally be a first option just like Pippen was to Jordan.
Kobe's life would be so much easier because RJ and Kidd could help him on D instead of Luke freaking Walton so he wouldn't have to guard the other teams best player. Kidd would give Kobe free layups so he would probably be very unselfish, shoot a high % but still win the scoring title. We would clearly have the best defensive team at least on the peremiter cause RJ and Kidd are great defenders and we all know about Kobe.
Kobe-Kidd-RJ are a much better big 3 then the Celtics plus we would have Bynum and that would mean Kidd would be our 3rd or 4th best player and RJ a 25 point a game scorer which is tops in the league would be our third option. Kobe would never want to leave, we wouldn't live and die by Phil and just have to prey his health holds up.
We would still be the best rebounding team with Bynum and Kidd combining for over 20 a game. Magloire can take over until Bynum gets back and he can actually finish and he can play pf when Bynum comes back and be the 5th option who is actually a former allstar. Our entire starting 5 will be allstars and former allstars.

NJ's side of this is they get 3 young players in Farmar, Critt, Ariza and with Marcus Williams and Sean Williams and Josh Boone they would have exciting talent while getting a lotto pick and then in 09 Lebron will have serious help. For those of you who don't know Lebron is almost defenately going to play for the Nets when his contract is up. JayZ is a smart man for making the right friend.

We would be by far the best team in the league and maybe in nba history.

Bynum
Ronny or Magloire
RJ
Kobe
Kidd

Fisher off the bench.

I agree that our back court is fine the way it is (although Kidd would make it much better), but if a salary the size of Kidd's is being moved, we must try to capitalize on it, sending Kidd elsewhere
