OT: Darrick Martin, a decade of brilliance

Post#1 » by stopnpop » Sat Jan 26, 2008 2:20 am

I recently clicked on DMarts career stats, and he has not shot higher than 38% in the last 10 seasons. He has a yr at 0%, he hasn't been above 35% in 6 yrs. This man needs to write a book about getting very lucrative, and competitive jobs while performing poorly at every turn. He needs an infomercial, he is a legend. DMart is also a known trash talker, who once talked trash to MJ, he must have the biggest onions of all time. I would love to see DMart vs. Hump in a one on one showdown, can u imagine the shots?

You sometimes hear the phrase "he does the most with the least" in regards to players that succeed despite having limited 'talent'. Derrick Murray is a special case...he has little talent, and does little with it, and yet has stuck in the NBA for the better part of two centuries (give or take).

He's an inspiration to the talentless everywhere.

Btw, this topic is not OT.

I think his personality is what keeps him around.
Wasn't he key to the success of a championship UCLA team?
I'm not sure.

Darrick Martin **** on guys like Kobe on a consistent basis. Here's a fine example of such feats:

As Kobe is entranced by the sheer brillance of the mighty Dmart, the ball is stolen from under him only to see Dmart on a breakaway while grabbing his wife's ass.

GUYS, IT'S VIOLET! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

but yeah. Boogie decided the forum would be a prettier place if we all had pretty colours. He is the originator, the legend. We must follow him down the path to aesthetic greatness.

Edit: It's in honour of Dora the Explorer, and AP's love for her. Also, This forum is anti canadian. IT'S SPELLED COLOUR

I heard that when D-Mart grows a beard that he has a 3rd fist/hand behind his beard. It is rumoured that this hand shoots .186 from the 3-point line.
